The Ocean Grill is an open-air restaurant amidst the tropical foliage of South Beach, just steps away from the beach. Enjoy the refreshing breeze of the Atlantic Ocean or turn around and gaze at The Setai’s three infinity edge pools.

The Ocean Grill offers a Mediterranean-inspired lunch menu whose custom-built wood-fire grill gives each dish a rustic flare. Guests can enjoy a wide range of standout dishes including Spanish Octopus on the grill, Yellowfin Tuna Tartare, Mediterranean Branzino and the exotic White Truffle Pizza.

The new evening menu transports guests to summer nights on the Italian Riviera in our open-air, oceanfront restaurant featuring pastas, risottos, wood-grilled prime meats and fish.

I had high expectations for this beautiful restaurant. The ambiance was stunning. It was a special occasion and wanted it to be perfect. We started with tuna tartar and grilled octopus. The rinse tar was average but probably the best item of the night. The grilled octopus was cold rubbery and had a slimy coating. The main coarse was below subpar. I had the Salmon which was order medium and again came out cold and over cooked and very dry the seared tuna was just ok. The waiter saw I did not eat my main coarse and asked if anything was wrong with it and I explained it was over cooked. He did offer another meal selection but at that point the dinner experience was ruined and over. He should of offered to remove it from the check since he could clearly see it was not eaten. For the price this dinner should have been well Above average. I do not recommend

We were so disappointed in our experience yesterday. The setting is beautiful of course - on the beach and the ambiance inside the Ocean Grill is very nice. However, the service was subpar, our server didn't come back often and we had to flag him down. Our food was the most disappointing part. My friend ordered a half dozen oysters and got 5 instead of 6. When she flagged it to them they brought her the final oyster on a plate without any of the normal accompaniments. My chicken was dry and flavorless. My boyfriend ordered the Wagu and his steak and potatoes were cold. For $400+ it was not at all worth the value of the food we were given. If you go here, I'd only recommend going for drinks and the view.

Even though we arrived 15 minutes early and our table was ready we were told that we could not be seated unless everybody in our party had arrived. We explained that our guests were on their way and the estimated arrival was on time, but nevertheless the hostess just repeated that same statement over and over which seemed very rude to me and not worthy of a five star resort restaurant. We had to wait on foot in the middle of the restaurant for 15 minutes even though I explained that I have a broken hip and was in pain. The whole attitude made us very uncomfortable . It is a shame because the restaurant is nice and the food excellent, but they have to improve their manners.

Very rude and unfriendly personnel. Arrived earlier and there were plenty of tables available that remained available until I was seated. Place was freezing. I will never ever come back. No need to waist my money with such a rude team. Bad!!

I made reservations for a certain time in the bar and it was extremely busy and noisy. We waited over half an hour for our reservation. The tuna was with the addition of avocado was delicious as were the drinks. It was extremely noisy and busy as Art Basel what’s happening in Miami at the time. It would definitely go back there as the dining area by the pool look like an ideal place for a romantic dinner

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the food,drinks and customer service. The restaurant was extremely crowded but the work flow and synergy of the staff was seamless with very quick delivery of food and drinks.

What a journey…. save your money, they don’t know what salt or flavor is. Felt like the server forgot about us, had to remind him multiple times throughout the night of things they forgot or missed. Best thing they served was the pool drink in a coconut…warm. The cacio e pepe served from the cheese wheel was thick and horrible - I had one bite and sent it back. The only saving grace was the coconut gelato that is probably store bought. Maybe it should be renamed from Ocean Grill to No service No Care.

Great dining experience! Service outstanding. Food was perfect. Highly recommend the artichokes and eggplant starters Chilean Sea Bass light, tasty perfectly grilled. Staff made us feel welcome and appreciated. Onur our waiter, provided such a positive experience. The Manager stopping by tables with meaningful conversation to engage with guests. He seemed to make everyone feel as if they were VIP's.
