The Ocean Grill is an open-air restaurant amidst the tropical foliage of South Beach, just steps away from the beach. Enjoy the refreshing breeze of the Atlantic Ocean or turn around and gaze at The Setai’s three infinity edge pools.

The Ocean Grill offers a Mediterranean-inspired lunch menu whose custom-built wood-fire grill gives each dish a rustic flare. Guests can enjoy a wide range of standout dishes including Spanish Octopus on the grill, Yellowfin Tuna Tartare, Mediterranean Branzino and the exotic White Truffle Pizza.

The new evening menu transports guests to summer nights on the Italian Riviera in our open-air, oceanfront restaurant featuring pastas, risottos, wood-grilled prime meats and fish.

Started with the salad tasting like grass which they removed from the bill. Then I got the ny strip steak which was a 6/10. They don’t have any a1 steak sauce. So I couldn’t enjoy it. They literally don’t have a lot of side options so I had to only get mashed potatoes and share it. They don’t even have Mac and cheese. Highest disappointment was that after I paid 146$ I was still hungry upon leaving. Which I told the staff & he just laughed and agreed with me. I don’t think leaving a private note make sense, so I will leave the note here; menu needs improvement. Seems like this restaurant is not for everyone. Due to the fact that their menu is very expensive and the food is very mid. Mid meaning it has barely any taste. The dont have a good sauce options which was bad due to the food not having taste. The staff is definitely not a problem the earn the mandatory service fee of 20%.. they need menu improvements, the head chef need guidance and let the people decide what should be on the menu. Cause the people are the one eating the food and spending their money. I feel like I wasted my money coming here. I would’ve went to McDonald’s and been full after eating. I was not full at all after eating from here which was a disappointment. Everything is good from the views and decorations but the chef and food need help immediately. I hope this review is not ignored because you will continue to loose great customer due to the food quality. No wonder this is a 3 star restaurant. It can easily become 5 stars if the food was cheaper and better. Matter fact it’s not about the money it’s about getting full at the end of your meal. Which I was hungry, sadly. I hate leaving reviews but this restaurant is literally only for decorations and pictures because the food needs major improvements. Or they need a new chef. They don’t even have rice as a side. Sad. Not one crab cake on site. Ain’t no way I’ll have a lot of money and spend it here on food and be hungry after leaving. do better

Once we found it (it is on the side of the hotel facing the ocean-duh), we were nothing but impressed with our experience. Nice to get away from all the pounding music on Collins. Restaurant is gorgeous , drinks delicious, and I know you’re supposed to get seafood, but WOW, my wagyu skirt steak was next level amazing!! Service from Amanda was lovely, just the right level of attentiveness despite our being among the last tables of the night. Great wine recommendation as well. I’d go back in a heartbeat.

Ocean Grill is a beautiful restaurant, and we’ve enjoyed dining there a few times in the past. We were all looking forward to returning, but unfortunately, this visit was a big disappointment. The service was slower than usual, and after a long wait, all four of our dishes arrived cold. We sent them back, expecting a better outcome, but they still weren’t hot or flavorful the second time around. Not sure what the issue was, but it was definitely not the experience we had hoped for. With so many great restaurants in Miami, we won’t be returning.

Service was very disappointing. Had a great table overlooking ocean. Food was good. But had to waive down the server 3 times. No drink order, no follow check-in. Left a stack of dirty appetizer plates while having main course. Had to ask for water 3 times. I was entertaining a friend from out of town so it was bummer.

Fine dining in a spectacular beachfront The seafood was very fresh and delicious. The wood grilled artichokes were the best we've ever had. The cacio e pepi is finished in a cheese wheel tableside and is a real head turner. Top notch service as well.
