At the Ocean House, we are delighted to welcome you to our Seaside Ballroom! All special dining events require a non-refundable deposit for all members of the party at the time of booking. Please ensure that you include all children in your party size upon booking, including those who will require a highchair or booster seat. All deposits will be credited on the day of your dining experience.

In honor of Santa’s Official Visit to Watch Hill for the Christmas Season, Ocean House invites families after the Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony & Christmas Village to join us in the Ballroom and the Drawing Room for a magical buffet dinner with Santa. A $50 per chair deposit is required at time of booking and is non-refundable. All deposits will be applied as a credit to your Dinner with Santa check. The remaining balance will be presented on your check at the time of the event. Adults $105 - plus tax and service charge Children aged 4-12 $50 - plus tax and service charge Children 3 and under are complementary Highchair requests should also be included in your total party size at time of booking. Enjoy a bountiful brunch buffet at The Ocean House hosted in the ballroom. Santa visits from 10:15 to 3:30pm. A $50 per adult deposit or $20 per child (all ages) deposit is due at the time of booking and is non-refundable. All deposits will be applied as a credit to your brunch check. The remaining balance will be presented on your check at the time of the event. Adults $115 & Children aged 4-12 $55. Children 3 and under complimentary but should be counted in your party size at time of reservation. Please indicate if you will need a highchair as well. All pricing excludes tax and 22% gratuity.

Enjoy a wonderful morning and breakfast with The Nutcracker featuring Sugar Plum Fairy and Clara in the Seaside Ballroom overlooking the Atlantic Ocean! Adults - $95++ Children Ages 6-12 - $50++ Children Ages 5 and under - $25++ Please include all children who need a highchair or a booster seat in your total party size when making your reservations. All deposits will be applied as a credit on your check. The remaining balance will be presented on your check at the time of the event. All deposits are non-refundable including but not limited to a change in plans or illness. Valet parking is $5 per vehicle. We look forward to welcoming you!

This was our first experience with the Ocean House Tree Lighting and Santa Dinner. Upon arrival to the O House we felt very unwelcome by the ropes not allowing guests to enter the building before the outdoor reception. It was very cold and the 6 outdoor heaters were loaded with people and unavailable. The Carolers were lovely and a nice touch. Following the lighting the hotel lobby was complete chaos in the “waiting area” while we awaited the entry to the event. Once the ballroom doors opened we finally made it downstairs to a fine buffet, and a ballroom with sporadic music (kept cutting in And out and most of the night was non existent) and terrible service. Our waitress approached our table (as we were one of the first people seated and only a party of three) and took our drink order. We ordered a soft drink, glass of wine, and one cocktail and waited about 30min to actually get the three drinks. Our waitress never checked in on us again. Once Santa entered the room he visited a few tables and then went to the photo area for pictures where a massive line formed without anyone directing anything. We have stayed at Ocean House and their sister properties many times and taken part in other events. This by far felt like robbery for the price and subpar experience. The event felt oversold and very underwhelming and mismanaged. This will be our last Christmas dining experience and I would hesitate doing another O House event for fear of a similar experience.

Terrible service. Food was very good but having to get up numerous times to have plates cleared, to reorder beverages etc was unacceptable especially at $160 pp!

There is a 24 % service fee which is fine but there should not be an additional tip required.

I wish the Easter Bunny would make an appearance in the dining room BEFORE the Easter Egg hunt. Smaller kids eat earlier. No Easter Bunny. Disappointing.

We went for the Character Brunch. The staff and service was good and what you expect for the Ocean House. The food was not good. The only food that was good was the made to order omelets. The other buffet food, while cute in descriptions and catered towards children was cold and didn’t taste good. The Mickey Mouse pancakes lacked the pancake flavor and Were cold. The French toast sticks, cold and hard. Tator tots old and hard. They had an assortment of desserts that looked cute, but again Were mediocre in taste. They had hot or iced coffee (Dave’s) which was good. The performance and meet and greet was fantastic. The characters Were really good at the entertainment part and interacting with the kids. I was lucky to score 2 small bags of popcorn on the way out to eat in the car because we all left hungry. I probably won’t return for the Character brunch since it was $300 and we left hungry, but have had good experiences at their Sunday jazz brunch in the past and I would try that again.

The ambiance was lovely hut with unfortunately we could not hear the beautiful Christmas music because children were banging in the keys of a piano that was there.

Brunch on Christmas Eve…service was outstanding. Food was…fine. Nothing stood out as especially amazing. Nothing was not good, it’s just that for the price, I expected better. Our past Christmas Eve experiences at Ocean House far surpassed this one.
