Welcomed by very friendly and up-beat staff. Great lively atmosphere. Italian flavour in everything including wait staff, wine list and food. Service paced very well. All-in-all a great night. I would highly recommend to anyone

Great night had with a group of 6 of us. Service was friendly & Food was amazing. We shared an assortment of dishes to start with; calamari, focaccia, croquettes & Nonna’s meatballs. All were delicious. Then we each had a pasta - red lobster spaghetti is my new fav with a fresh pop of flavours in each mouthful with generous lobster throughout. Friends had the ragu which they loved. Finished the evening with the classic Italian Tiramisu & coffees for dessert. Thank you to our waiter Marco for your wine suggestion of the Vermentino. We’ll be back. Grazie

Lovely local restaurant with super fresh ingredients, delicious prosciutto and hearty pasta dishes. Great Italian wine list too.

Food and ambience we outstanding! Had a six month with us and it seemed too long for dinner to arrive! When it did the food was awesome! Never disappoints! Highly recommend this authentic Italian restaurant! Will miss it and Alberto when we head back to the States!

A lovely evening, accompanied by a beautiful greeting from the owner and his staff. Good food which followed topped it off. Would recommend

This place has become our favorite go to place since arriving in Melbourne! The food, service and ambiance is amazing! Alberto and his staff make is feel like we are the only ones they are serving! Highly recommend this true Italian restaurant!

We sat outside in the courtyard under cover. It was a warm night, food good and delivered on time. A great night. Highly recommend for an easy night

We had THE BEST evening at our Village and Melbourne favourite. The sensational Italian wine list must be tasted, top to bottom. Our food was delicious, totally fresh (kingfish crudo beyond perfect), and SO ORIGINAL. Service was so good; charming, authentic, warm, fun and v knowledge x 3 perfect options re what yr vibe you love; pavement, great interior restaurant with great b/w photographs, and so sweet outside courtyard that’s quite, secluded and so pretty with fairy lights. Can’t wait to be back, GRAZIE MILLE x

Nice spot which we had visited before for coffee before, good food but lack luster service with our main courses being dumped on our table whilst still enjoying our starters...appeared that a friend of the staff was getting much better service than we were...

Really nice restaurant and has a nice vibe about it. Pastas we had were delicious. Coffees were excellent and clearly they are known for them judging by people popping in just for those. The negatives were that the waiter was focused around the bar area and not attentive to customers and it wasn't a busy time. We gave up on ordering desserts and went to the bar to ask for some coffees. Also we thought the lunch food options on the menu were too limited. Overall we would recommend OGI because the food and ambiance are excellent. Just a couple of things could improve in our opinion.
