Always love going ti my favorite sushi place.
Yesterday sushi chef Cesar suggested we tried something different and oh wow we were delighted!

Food was, as always, wonderful! Our server was horrible though - took forever to get a bottle of wine - our food actually arrived BEFORE she brought the wine - everything all at once, no coursing, took forever to clear used platters. Inattentive - you shouldn't have to repeatedly scan the room to try to find your server.

I have been to Oishii numerous times and had positive experiences many a time, but the service was off on this occasion. We had to ask for the side dish of ginger and wasabi; food wasn't coming out in a timely manner; dirty serving dishes weren't picked up even when a server came to deliver wine, etc. I was disappointed because I know I have received better on most visits. I hope they were just having an "off" night.
