Welcome to Oleum Vegan Kitchen, where Chef Adibe brings a fresh, creative approach to vegan cuisine, inspired by her almost 30 years of experience in the service industry and a deep passion for plant-based cooking. Originally founded in Okinawa, Japan, Oleum is now a Baltimore gem, located just a short drive from the National Aquarium and very close to the Baltimore Visitor's Center.

Our cozy and inviting space offers a welcoming atmosphere for both vegans and non-vegans alike, blending Mediterranean, Spanish, and Middle Eastern flavors into unforgettable dishes. A standout on our menu is the Miso Mushroom Bucatini, a delightful fusion of Chef Adibe's time in Japan and her love of savory pastas, this dish has quickly become a fan favorite.

Me and my wife really enjoyed eating at this new restaurant. We had the pleasure of meeting the chef and owner and were able to discuss and talk about her food. We were looking for a new plant based restaurant that had clean vegan options meaning no seed oils, and for the most part this restaurant came through. If you’re looking for great food, pleasant staff along with sound food recommendations this is the place. We will definitely be coming back here, especially since they’re gonna be moving to Fells point in the near future.

Excellent food and excellent staff! Every dish was great. The risotto was one of the best I’ve ever had. Everyone in my party raved about their meals. The staff was fun and laughed right along with our jokes. As we were leaving each of the other people in my party stopped me to thank me for finding Oleum!

We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience. The ravioli was especially amazing. The food was excellent, the service was great and very friendly, and we had a very lovely chat with the owner. We will certainly go back and look forward to the restaurant moving to a new, stand alone location.

I came here for my brother's birthday dinner with immediate family and was impressed with both the service and value. The desserts are especially good and the table was in a private location which was quiet and good for conversation. My brother is vegetarian and picked this restaurant and we all loved it despite being meat lovers.

Enjoyed the pumpkin soup and kale salad quite a bit. The pizza crust was fantastic though I would get a different pizza choice next time; I chose the Apollo with Aleppo hummus. Thank you Oleum for a large, creative, wholesome menu. All the best.

I highly, highly recommend giving Oleum a visit! Had a wonderful time and greatly enjoyed their pizza (we ordered the 1/2 Gabriel and 1/2 Toum Raider pizza), their pasta (we ordered the miso mushroom bucatini), their matcha latte, and their tiramisu. All their food is unbelievably vegan and DELICIOUS. The tiramisu + lattes will absolutely blow your mind away. My only feedback is I thought the sauce that went over the ravioli appetizer was slightly too acidic for my tastes, but the filling was delightful. Oleum is a very intimate dining experience and I definitely recommend visiting during earlier hours to avoid crowds. Service was great and I cannot wait to visit again. I hope that Oleum can stay in Baltimore for a long time.

We had a wonderful time at Oleum celebrating a friend's birthday. Bean was our server and was amazing. She had excellent suggestions, and our small group was able to try a bunch of different items. Highly recommend the potatoes and the Gabriel pizza. Bean brought a coffee cake with a candle in it for our birthday girl on the house. Such a sweet gesture!
