The historic Ostrich Inn Colnbrook, Heathrow, dates back 900 years to 1106–supposedly the third oldest inn in England. With bar, restaurant, private dining areas and function space as well as bedrooms it caters to a range of guest requirements and modern expectations.
Today you can enjoy honest, tasty pub food, fresh local ingredients, in relaxed and comfortable surroundings, yet only a stones throw from Heathrow Airport and main transport links. Serving wine by the glass or bottle and a choice of real ales.
Exterior exhibits a wonky timbered facade, but lots of care and attention has been spent bringing this former coaching inn up to date, expect dark slate floors, open fireplace, brilliant jewel colours & stained glass, as well as sand-blasted beams & a cobbled courtyard.
If you are looking for a pub while staying near to Heathrow Airport, or simply because you are in business in the Heathrow area, we look forward to welcoming you. We're open 7 days a week and

We had been to the Ostrich Inn many years ago and had a wonderful experience. Food was great, atmosphere ambient and service impeccable and so booked Mothers Day for our family to enjoy. The restaurant was so overcrowded that it resembled a children's tea party. Very disappointing. The food, was mostly enjoyable, the chicken was tough and on the bone with very little meat to be pulled off. We all felt slices of white meat may have been a better touch or even a small chicken breast. There were also no green vegetables with the meal looking very beige in appearance. Finally the dessert was clearly not home made as the sticky toffee pudding was exceptionally sweet, and the eton mess had a strange twang. Service was great however, and hats off to the ladies serving us yesterday in a very overcrowded restaurant. Sadly we will not be returning to the restaurant again. A real shame as we had such a lovely experience before.

Nice restaurant though tables were a bit squashed in (It was mother's day so maybe not usually so tight) . No problems with service. My food was not the best but my family enjoyed what they ordered. I had confit of duck which usually falls off the bone but instead struggled to pull it off and found a huge garlic bulb inside which ruined the flavour of the meat for me. Parking was ample but the entrance is a tight turn if entering from same side of road.

Service was very slow, food was only warm. Waited over 30 minutes for our starters. Bar lady came through & was surprised we hadn’t received anything, was tasty , just not hot .

Lovely old pub with a good sandwich selection for lunch. The only issue we had was that the pub was very cold, despite lighting the fire, the place didn’t really heat up. Shame as the food and service were both very good. We’d go again, but leave it till the weather warms up!

From walking into the Ostrich the service was welcoming. Food was lovely, cooked as requested, and drinks were good variety and value.

Plain pub food, nothing special. Booked a table for the restaurant, but was put in the bar area. Overpriced for what it was, and a very boring small menu of very basic pub food. Service was nice, no complaints about the staff. I wouldn't recommend to anyone, there are many better pub menus this time of year elsewhere.
