A locally owned Madison favorite, Otto's is set in a beautifully restored 1870s stone farm house with two dining levels. The menu features creative, Mediterranean-inspired cuisine, fresh seafood, Certified Angus Beef steaks and more. A friendly lower-level bar serves classic cocktails and fine wines, and half-price appetizers from 3:30 – 6:30 p.m. Tuesday – Friday. Outdoor dining and live jazz are featured on the deck Spring through Fall, weather permitting. Otto's is also open the first Monday of each month (excluding holidays) in the Spring and Summer when live music is being performed. Main level dining area is wheelchair accessible. Online reservations are available for the dining rooms only, bar and deck table reservations should be made via telephone. Reservations are recommended for dining in the bar, outdoors, and inside for parties of 6 or more. In the event your party is unable to attend, please contact us by phone to cancel your reservation.

One of our friends is unable to navigate stairs well and we were seated on the top floor of the building. I asked if we could have a table on the main level and was told no, they were all full. That was not an acceptable answer. She had to struggle up the stairs with my help and was in pain. When reservations are made, there should be a way to ask if there are any people who have issues with stairs.

We came to Otto’s for my 80th birthday dinner! The food and service was wonderful! It is our favorite restaurant for special occasions and we have never been disappointed. It’s also fun to eat in the bar area. Highly recommend!!

Had a very pleasant experience at Otto’s. Food very good, service excellent. Otto’s appears to have been updated in the past year at least on the main floor.

We were exploring this venue for a small upcoming wedding dinner, and noticed how loyal the clientele seems to be from the other reviews. The food was outstanding, and the service perfect. We tried all the things on the menu that we thought might be our selections for our private event, and were not disappointed: 8oz filet mignon, seafood trio, feta stuffed chicken and the pasta with lemon cream sauce. I normally don’t order pasta at a fine dining place, but was checking it out for future vegetarian guests. I had shrimp on top, but it could well have been ordered with chicken or without meat altogether. (In fact we liked it better than the feta-stuffed chicken as a potential chicken dish. It was absolutely scrumptious, and definitely came out of a master chef’s kitchen. There was enough of each dish that we each took home leftovers, and I couldn’t wait to eat mine the next day. Still dreaming about whether I could possibly replicate this pasta recipe at home— I’m going to try!!! It was so good! But that’s not to undercut the other dishes whatsoever, which were our favorites, even better compared with food at some other local award-winning restaurants. The farmhouse is charming and looks just like the pictures. There is a disability ramp to the middle floor dining area and enclosed porch. But it you want the third floor, you’ll have to handle some stairs.

We had a fabulous dinner. Food and drinks were exceptional and service was excellent. Out table was ready when we got there and service was well paced. We didn’t feel rushed but didn’t have to wait long.

My husband and I are local and visit Otto's a few times a year. My parents were visiting and it was my Mom's birthday so we opted to bring them to Otto's (their first time). My Mom has some physcial struggles and can only walk short distances. I notified the restauranta ahead of time and they made sure to prepare a table for us right by the door and on the main floor (by the ramp entrance in the back). The entire dinner my Mom felt heard and recognized by our server, Cheryl, who I thought was truly exceptional. Between the four of us we ordered one of everything, salad, chicken, seafood and steak and all of the meals were exceptional. They were cooked well, came with wonderful sides and my starter tomato bisque soup was delicious enough I could have taken a bath in it! Thank you to Otto's for being consistently great through the decades. You made my Mom's 77th birthday one she will remember.
