Chef Eugenia Hobson and her team prepare authentic Greek dishes served attentively in a breezy Aegean-inspired atmosphere. Our signature dishes include the grilled octopus, the kolokithokeftedes (stuffed zucchini fritters), the lavraki whole fish (branzino) filleted table side, and the arni giouvetsi (lamb shank with orzo). Our selection of nine desserts are all made fresh daily in-house and feature Greek classics such as the baklava and the galaktoboureko. Our wine list is meticulously curated on a seasonal basis by son Philip Hobson selecting from Greece's top vineyards who produce indigenous varietals such as Assyrtiko & Xinomavro, and western grapes such as Cabernet Sauvignon & Sauvignon Blanc. Our beer selection focuses on bottled Greek brews while our bar is fully stocked to serve both classic cocktails and signature drinks inspired by the best bars in Athens. Outdoor tables are available in the summer months. We are located steps away from Bloomies and Barnes & Noble.

Tienen hora de reserva hasta las 9pm,pero reservamos para las 8:45 cuando llegamos nos pusieron el agua y el mesero nos dijo que en 20mint la cocina cerraba qué nos diéramos prisa en ordenar,y faltaba que llegara mi hija,ordenamos y la comoda vino toda junta y fría mi novio tuvo que pararse dos veces a pedir más pan y un vino ,no fue nada agradable el ambiente porque estaban con ganas de cerrar a las 9:30 ,una pena pprque nos habían recomendado el de shirllington pero fuimos al de distric avenue por que nos quedaba más cerca.. No volveremos.

The service was outstanding - helpful, kind, polite and not pushy at all! Loved it! The octopus was excellent. I just didnt give 5 stars as I thought Moussaka had mostly potato as starch but their version was more of a cream. Not bad but different.

Had the Fixed menu on Valentine Day. The shared salad was the size of a single salad. They served warm pita bread with red pepper hummus. For the scallop appetizer it was one scallop on a small plate of orzo pasta. The main dish was their saving grace as it was plenty and the branzino was cooked to perfection. They served a small glass of sparkling wine included in the price. I just assumed it was the sample size. I ordered an $18 glass of white wine and it came in the same small glass. I told my date I could give the place another chance because of that main course, but my date said it wasn’t enough to convince a return. They advertised rustic Greek music. The musicians, a singer and a mandolin player performed for just five minutes. All told the price came out as $125.00 per person and just left us feeling it wasn’t a good value for us.

Cute spot in Mosaic, definitely fits the neighborhood vibe. Did the Valentine’s Day menu and almost everything was delicious. The hummus was outstanding, steak tender and juicy, pasta delicate and creamy, scallops perfectly cooked. The dessert was meh, but overall, a great experience. Service was prompt, friendly and attentive. Highly recommend this place for a date night or just when you’re in the mood for some excellent food.

Always an excellent meal to be had at Our Mom Eugenia! Last night I had the mussels, shrimp and calamari over orzo with a tomato Ouzo sauce - awesome!
