We have been a number of times to Outback Steakhouse Pacific Fair but sadly this will the last. We went to celebrate my husbands birthday, bringing other family members along. Three out of 4 of our steak dishes were overcooked, some like leather and barely edible. Not what you would expect for $40,$50 and &70 dishes! The chips that accompanied our dishes were all dry, as was the chicken in the mixed grill. We gave this feedback at the time and were provided with a complimentary dessert dish - however we really would have just preferred our main meals were of a better quality and worthy of the huge cost. Ribeye and eye fillet Steaks were beautifully cooked to our taste and the side salad and complimentary house bread were lovely. One guest ordered the cheese burger. He found it dry and tasteless and drinks orders were slow and one lot didn’t come out at all, but the restaurant was busy. Was it worth the money? The size of the steaks were huge and while the service was a little unco-ordinated, I think the prices were ok. Unbelievable! Friendly staff, great food and Food was amazing. So much better than our local outback stake house in Sydney, the meals there would be at least half the size compared to this restaurant and I’m not kidding! The family couldn’t finish all the dinner as they were big serving sizes. We will definitely be back next time! Honestly it was very disappointing. We are usually locals coming for all our special occasions so when our friends from Sydney came up we didn’t hesitate to take them here. However it was disappointing. The usual waitresses were no longer there and the service was not very good. Forgot our water glasses instantly So I had to go and ask for them. . We asked for a ltr or sangria and they gave us two cups of it instead. asked if we wanted a refill of beer in the same cup rather then a fresh cold glass, the dinner came out at different times to each other so by the time we got to eat together two meals were cold. The bread at the table that is complimentary was one tiny loaf for 8 people and I asked for a few, the food was dry the ribs were skinny and dry, the steak was unevenly cooked, my son ordered a spicy chicken burger and it was covered in jalapeños making it inedible for a 10 yr old. No one mentioned its very spicy. and one of the waitresses was walking around with a vape hanging out of her pocket. It was busy and felt messy. We left there realising that we will Jo longer be going there. Have been here a lot and have always loved my experience, however our most recent experience last night wasn’t the best. We all loved our meals. Teenagers loved the biscoff shakes. Hot honey fried chicken was delicious.
