This was our first visit. The raw oysters were great and so were the Oysters Rockefeller. Those were the best we have ever had. Highly recommended. The hushpuppies were great. The fish sandwich was huge and tasty. Our server, Constance, was very helpful and attentive. She made our dining experience very pleasant and enjoyable. We will definitely return soon.

Food was oversalted on everything i mean everything. server couldn’t keep order straight during order time or even prior to delivery. red wine was poor quality. server kept raving about the grits and they were not anything worth raving about that is for sure. Shrimp in shrimp and grits was tough and not cooked properly. have no reason to return

Oysters were SO good. Salad excellent. Fish tacos fair. Fried fish dinner second only to The NA Exchange. Service impeccable. We will return.

Fantastic experience! We tried oysters for the first time. The staff was extremely helpful in selecting ones we may enjoy. We went to their sister restaurant, Brooklyn and the Butcher, for dinner, but came back to Outkast after for a nightcap because we liked the ambience there so much more. They made my husband’s birthday feel very special. We can’t wait to go back, especially during happy hour.

Our server was outstanding. She was very attentive and kind. The food was very good except the fennel salad. The Caesar salad they used to have was very good. Oysters Rockefeller were very good and also the she crab soup was delicious.

We had an incredible experience and meal at Outcast! Our server/bartneder Shawn was attentive and helpful, and the food and drinks were outstanding! Highly recommend!

This was my first visit to Outcast but it won’t be the last. I had the Chesapeake Bay oysters on the half shell and they were fresh and delicious. I had the fish tacos as my entree and my friend had the scallops. Both were excellent! We also tried the crispy Brussels sprouts and hush puppies. Thumbs up for both. The service was excellent and the ambiance was nice.

The service we received from our server, Candice, was exceptional. Perfect! The menu was fun, interesting, and had a unique variety. Unfortunately either prices were too high or portions were too small ... or maybe both. This Restaurant Group seems to believe they're doing us a favor ... as opposed to earning our business. Our $41 grouper entree may have had a 5 oz piece of fish. Our server commented that it did seem pretty small when she picked it up. So most of that $41 went toward two types of beans. We ordered a half dozen oysters, (plus salad, soup, etc.) as part of our appetizers and they were good but far TOO expensive. The mussels on our appetizer were the smallest muscles in existence. Our highlight would have been the two oyster shooter cocktails we ordered. They were good. Everything else was either okay or good but entirely overpriced. It used to be prices were reasonable and portions were huge. I wouldn't mind if prices were high and portions were huge or prices were reasonable and portions were average. But this is the worst of both worlds and it feels like exploitation. We would have loved to have made ourselves regulars at this establishment, especially given that there aren't many Seafood centered restaurants on our side of the river, but we can't. We can easily afford it but it's not of value to us. When we do business with any establishment we're changing something of value for something of value. And my hard-earned money is worth more than what they're willing to serve us for it. Thank you for the taking the time to read this.
