I have always had a good experience at Oxbow so this is definitely a one off. Drinks were okay. Oysters came out with a very strong fishy smell even after putting lemon on them. Normally they are great my friend ordered a hamburger medium rare and it came very well done. I then ordered a hamburger as well while hers was being re-cooked and asked for it to be very, very rare only to get it medium the burgers here used to be very plump and delicious, but the size of the patty was very thin and consequently very difficult to get rare. The manager was kind and offered to take one of the burgers off the check and comped a dessert. Sadly, the chocolate bourbon pie was no better than something you would find on a cruise ship with generic whipped cream that wasn’t real. It just tasted like chocolate pudding. It just goes to show you that every day can be different depending on who’s running the kitchen.

Asked for bread to go with 2-entree salads ordered at our table and received some sorry pieces of unbuttered toast. Salads & Fish & Chips were delicious.

staying at the hotel close by the venue looked beautiful however, the food was greatly disappointing. The service was great the weight stuff attentive. It’s disappointing to have such a great spot beautiful venue on the water and the food below average

Great service and location. Food was good excellent. They were able to accommodate a last minute change to the number of people in our party that was appropriated.

We ate here for our ten year anniversary. We sat outside overlooking the water and it was absolutely beautiful The waiter Steven was wonderful, there was a slight issue with mosquitos and lack of the fan working sufficiently, but the food was very good as were the drinks. We decided to only have drinks and appetizers because the entree menu was very limited for the price of the items. Would highly recommend for appetizers and drinks, maybe not so much for dinner Will go again!
