The magnificent Palm Court graces the heart of The Municipal Hotel & Spa, offering an elegant setting for all-day dining and drinks. The Library’s opulent design pays homage to Liverpool’s rich trading history and is reflected in our unique cocktail menus. Guests can enjoy a selection of classic and signature cocktails, including our exclusive Tea Service menu—featuring cocktails inspired by teas from around the globe.

Indulge in fresh cake, available daily from 10am to 12pm in the elegant Palm Court. Perfectly paired with a cup of tea or coffee, these delightful treats offer a sublime start to your day in a luxurious setting.

                                                        Really nice decor and theming in a fab heritage building. Staff great courteous. The library room is stylish and good for cosy chats

                                                        Beautiful setting. Beautifully decorated for Christmas and good food in Palm court. The service lets it down though and not for the first time. The staff are very helpful and pleasant but there are only one or two circulating on the ground and it’s a large space. It’s hard to get someone’s attention. Also, took a while to get drinks despite it being quiet.

                                                        Very crowded, service was slow. When asked the waiter for a drink was to to wait they were to busy, my drink was poured and on the bar. The waiter was quite arrogant. Will not be making a second visit.

                                                        It's a beautiful place, lovely vibe, but the service was a bit slow, probably because people were going the bar as well as table service, and there was a wedding on, but other than that it was lovely. We didn't have food, just drinks which is why I only gave 1 star for this, as there was no option for N/A.

                                                        The building is spectacular and the staff are welcoming and friendly. The food was delicious and well presented. We will definitely return and try the spa experience next time.

                                                        This was our second visit. Unfortunately the service was not great. We waited and waited for someone to come and take our order and eventually we went yo the bar. We ordered food and then a waiter came to ask about drinks - we explained we were having food and would need a table - we had sat in the library which is stunning - no problem he said, but a table was not provided until our food arrived and then there was lots of maneuvering getting a table sorted whilst our food was left to cool a little. We asked for salt but it never arrived. It is a fabulous place but if you allow people to eat in the library you need to provide a better service in there.
