Parallel brings together the experience and background of the three Ozery brothers, Alon, Guy, and Aharon, to create this unique space and product.
“We grew up in a home where sesame butter (tahini) was consumed regularly alongside flavourful Mediterranean cuisine. Parallel was born from our history and love for sesame butter. It’s part of our culture and upbringing, and we want to share that with you.
There are few ingredients that are as versatile, nutritious, and just as damn tasty as sesame butter. That’s why we decided to make it in all its forms: try it in our dressings, salads, dips, bowls, and our famous homemade halva, and seed what is possible.
The three of us share a passion for simple meals with fresh ingredients, bold flavors, and innovative techniques. That, along with our love for good coffee, art, music, and community, is what shapes the Parallel experience.”

    Amazing food. We got mix dips, fattoush salad and the beef kebab. The kebab and potatoes it came with were unbelievable. Flavourful and a good size portion. Highly recommend.

    Sunday brunch menu was original, well balanced, good portions. Ambiance friendly, family oriented, clean, nice plain decor. Prices reasonable. We will be go back. My favourite dish was the Mushroom mix platter with aragula salad; the dresing was delsih.

    Parallel is always amazing. We were 4 people and ordered a bunch of dishes to share including the salmon and chicken schnitzel. The Parallel salad and falafel are winners but everything else was delicious too. Great restaurant with a great vibe! We will keep returning. Casual and fun environment

    I love this place - the food is incredibly delicious and good value. The pesto dip is a must - also the eggplant one. So yummy. I love going with a group because it’s easy to share the dips and falafel, the fattoush salad is my favourite - I only wish I could order it with a chicken skewer for more protein options. The cookie skillet dessert is a MUST if you love chocolate - I hadn’t thought tahini ice cream would be as incredible as it tastes with the chocolate; I’m dreaming of it still! The service is excellent - it’s obvious the staff are customer service focused and go out of their way to accommodate. My only critique is that the patio, though heated, is still VERY cold - if you want to be able to take off your coat while you eat then I wouldn’t sit out there in the cooler weather.

    Always fabulous food & service! My fave resto in Toronto! Was originally miffed that the Sabich was taken off the menu, but the Shakshuka was absolutely phenomenal! 🤤 Tahini Latte is delicious (I was a fan of the old Turmeric Latte)

    Best falafel in Toronto without any doubt. However, the humus did not taste good this time. It was too bland. The vegetable is cooked perfectly with good crunch and seasoning.
