Parsonage Grill is a Cotswold-esque bolthole located within the 5-star Old Parsonage Hotel in central Oxford on Banbury Road.

Famous for its intimate, bohemian, clubby atmosphere, and beautiful outdoor dining area, the Parsonage Grill displays an amazing collection of eclectic oil paintings; mainly portraits of well-known writers and artists.

    Excellent food in a very cosy atmosphere, enhanced by the warm presence of a hearth at the centre of the room and many beautiful paintings on the walls. The service is impeccable, and the selection of wines is great. I personally recommend the chicken liver with foie gras as a starter, followed by the rabbit and tarragon pie. An outstanding choice, a bit outside of the eventful city centre for either a business meal or a quiet meeting with friends.

    Service was good but the food was poor. the crab was like crab paste from a jar and the rhubarb tart was cold and soggy

    Food excellent. Cosy setting. Only slight critique was that our waitress was a little grumpy. Everyone else was very friendly. Definitely recommend.
