   If you going to the Mayo theater it's a perfect place to eat, 3 minutes from the theater. The food was outstanding, just like the service. It is a BYO which is a plus, but for a BYO the prices are on the high side. Also they hit you with 4% charge when you use your Credit card.

   What a great evening! We hadn’t been to Pavesi in a while but I remember its cozy atmosphere and wanted that for a winter’s night. It did not disappoint. Lively , but cozy atmosphere and live guitarist to boot. The food was wonderful. From the mouth watering meatballs and burrata special to the mussels and pasta carbonara, we enjoyed it all. Great Morristown Italian! Highly recommend.

   Can’t count how many times we’ve dined here. We sat downstairs for the first time and prefer the ambiance upstairs. Food is always good. One person in our party received the wrong meal this time, but kept it since it was so delicious. The chef never disappoints!

    Food and service were excellent. The server was attentive and knowledgeable. The only negative, and it’s a big one, is the table at which we were seated. I made a reservation. We were seated downstairs, at the bottom of the stairs, next to which the servers were constantly coming up and down. My husband had to sit facing a brick wall. The table was so tiny that we couldn’t fit the appetizer plates on it, such that my husband had to share my appetizer out of his soup bowl. We were right next to a kitchen type area where the servers placed used dishes. We felt treated as unimportant guests who should just be lucky to get a table. I would have preferred to dine on another evening than be stuck at this table on a busy night before at MPAC next door. They should remove this table entirely. Such a disappointment, especially since the meal (it’s a BYO) cost $125, and we didn’t have dessert. The food was excellent, so it’s such a shame.
