   The food and service were great. Unfortunately, a large party prevented us from sitting in the dining room, and there was a loud party beside us. Hopefully, next time the space will match the food and service!

   We had a fabulous meal at Pearl’s Place & Pantry. Excellent service, a lovely atmosphere, and an inventive menu…full of southern favorites. The BBQ was sone of the best we’ve ever had…. Pearl’s is a bit pricy but worth every penny, to be sure.

   Smoked meats were very good , even though less than warm. The Gumbo however was the worst I have ever had as it lacked sausage, okra, crab and the usually expected flavors and spiciness. It had 4-6 shrimp. And all for over $30. Also, we had asked to have this as an appetizer to share and to please serve it very hot. It was served warm and together with the entrees. The atmosphere and Rioja wine we selected were good though. Won't be back.

   Once again Pearl’s delivers! Even on a busy weekend the food was spot on and the service too! We love coming here and make it a must visit each time we are in town!

    We were seated right by the fireplace, perfect because we were chilly! Our waitress helped us select a delicious meal and we ate every bite. A lovely evening at Pearl’s! Will come back again for sure.
