The newly reopened and renovated Pedro’s Cocina & Cocktails is a contemporary reflection of Pedro's, where the cuisine, atmosphere, and energy of Mexico City and the coastline are brought to life in Los Gatos. We offer a true maiz to table experience with a menu that celebrates today while paying homage to yesterday, by Chef Julio Aguilera (Saison, Copas, La Urbana), alongside playful agave-forward cocktails, in a breezy, coastal-Mexico inspired, reimagined space by John Sofio of BUILT INC (Delilah, Poppy).

We are proud to be a generational community staple and a leader in the South Bay’s dining scene for over 50 years.

The renovation is very lovely, but the service did not match. We were neglected - had to wave down server to get a glass of wine, then they did not know about the wine and did not offer to "bring me a taste". We were celebrating a birthday (indicated in reservation), and they dropped off the check before offering any dessert! We were just disappointed. Food was mediocre. Sorry.

After reading an excellent review of the changes on the menu that came with the remodeling I decided to give Pedro’s another try. The last time I ate there was about 15 years ago for my son’s soccer team dinner. I was not impressed then. This time I was wowed! We ordered the tuna ceviche and the special of the day, mole chicken enchiladas. It was delicious. We could taste the freshness of the ingredients! We will be back many times now.

Food was very tasty with interesting flavors and selections but did not come out hot. Service was polite but a bit on the slow side however it was a Friday night and placed was packed. Would definitely try again.

We hadn’t been here in a while, but they have totally remodeled and have redone the menus. Very cute vibe. The food was good, nothing that’s going to blow your socks off, they now serve crunchy tacos, which I thought was interesting since that’s not authentic Mexican. Margaritas/cocktails were good.

I remember Pedro's going back decades... have not been there in 10 years. Renovation and updated menu are a win! Service was attentive and engaging (without being overbearing). Guacamole excellent! All meals outstanding. Loved the smoky Mexican old fashioned - delish! Dessert mini-churros outstanding to share for a little sweet treat! Absolutely worth a visit if you haven't been since the renovation...

Food and service were okay, but at 6:30 on a Saturday evening the restaurant was just too loud for our party of 4 to enjoy. The decibel level reached 88-90 at several times. The owners would be wise to explore some acoustic options to reduce the noise levels.

It appears that most of the ingredients are premade. The taco shells did not seem freshly handmade. The shredded chicken also seems out of a premade batch, as did the refried beans. The food needs a major revamp and increase in made in house.

The interior of the restaurant was beautiful. The remodel they did was very good. The food was just OK. Chips and salsa were good. Found the fajitas to be underwhelming.
