The remodel is lovely! The new menu took some adjustment, as the choices have been reduced, and some of the menu items are less familiar as entrées. My husband ordered the pozole, which was just okay, and small in portion size. I had the chicken enchilada combo with beans and rice. The plate was not at all pretty, and could have used some color from lettuce, tomato, and sour cream, just as a little garnish, but the enchilada was the best I have ever had. We also ordered chips that came with three different salsas. They are serving different salsas than they did before and only the green sauce was satisfying. One taste of the red salsa and we were done. The third dip was a sour cream mixture that was a little strange. Considering we had to pay seven dollars for chips and salsa, we wish that the salsa choices had been better .We ordered a classic margarita to go with our meal, which was unremarkable. Our server was delightful, though he was literally on the run as he was serving a large area. He surprised us by bringing us a complementary churro dessert for our anniversary. We were pleased with the total cost of our meal, and were not displeased with our overall experience. I would certainly recommend that the chefs find a way of making the entrées, more beautiful with splashes of color from little garnishes. It makes a difference!
