Located on the charming town’s busy High Street, the newly-renovated Piccolino restaurant, guests will dine in the most divine setting. Boasting glamorous wood panelling, diamond cut mirrors, a spacious marble-topped bar area, and greenery throughout the main restaurant guests can relax watching the chefs in action in the open kitchen. With an exclusive menu taking guests on a journey of taste using the finest ingredients across Italy, guests can experience fish expertly filleted tableside, Fassona beef sourced from Piedmont in North West Italy and authentic Italian pasta dishes like the Carbonara Grande, prepared at the table from a giant pecorino cheese wheel. The gem in Piccolino’s crown is it’s secret garden, a beautiful winterised terrace, where guests can soak up the summer sun Mediterranean style or cosy up in the heated all weather terrace, no matter the Marlow weather, with a DJ performing on selected evenings.

Good food although some dishes apparently not super hot. Service when received was great, however we were left alone far too much. Had to get someone’s attention every single time we wanted something. Meant the night dragged on as we took so long to order everything. Atmosphere was good so this wasn’t the end of the world but constantly looking over our shoulder to get someone got old. Were very good with a birthday desert for my wife.

Food was OK but not for the prices charged. Service though was poor (apart from one lady who did her best - all the men were pretty disinterested). We had to wave at staff repeatedly to get their attention to get anything (drinks/food etc). At one point, while we were pouring our wine out a waiter took our wine cooler away without asking and rushed off with it. Had to wave again to get another. Won't be going again.

We went to Piccolino for the first time. While the staff was friendly and helpful, I couldn't say the same about the atmosphere and food. We ate in the back, and it was cold, we received a couple of blankets from the staff because the halogen lamps were broken. It was a nightmare to speak to each other because of the confusion similar to a bar. For the price, I would expect a more relaxed atmosphere. The food was well presented, but far from an outstanding Italian food. The calzone was not well cooked while my risotto was too cooked and sticky. The Tartufo flavour was covered from too much chilly and cheese. Good wines. Overall, it has been a nice experience, but sorry we'll not repeat it.
