Went here for Sunday dinner food and service was excellent would highly recommend and will definitely be going back.

Wasn’t a good experience at all, our meat was booked online for 12, when we arrived the restaurant was closed, so had to wait in the car park, when we eventually got in the pub was freezing cold, so we had to leave our coats on. Order food just after 12:15 but didn’t get served till gone 2pm. Won’t be going back to this restaurant

Booked a table and got there in a taxi to find all lights on and all doors locked no one inside but someone was upstairs watching me and saw me wasn’t happy as I spent 15 pounds in taxi to come here so I rang the little manor next door as had to book a table at half 7 the woman said yes I will find somewhere as your not the only person who’s booked with the Pickering arms wouldn’t mind if somebody emailed me to cancel the booking there was so ruined but overall had the best time and food was amazing best food pub little manor will definitely be going back there and will not go Pickering arms again

Very disappointed on Boxing Day only two staff working in the main area and a chef in the kitchen, it took 2.5 hrs before we received our main course . The pub was very cold inside, and had no central heating. Would not recommend this Pub to anyone.

Shame I have eaten here before and enjoyed it but today very was poor. Long wait time no communication, understand things don’t always run smooth but ended up leaving before dessert had arrived as we had somewhere else to be.

Booked a table for 12:00 on Monday 23rd December. Was at the door for 12-the door was shut. Waited until gone 12:10. Rang the pub to see if they were opening. No answer. Rang again at 12:21. No answer. Had to leave as my husband was diabetic and needed to eat. Another group who were waiting also left. No email or call to explain why.

We thoroughly enjoyed our festive menu choices. Food was beautifully cooked and presented. Would definitely return and highly recommend.

Preordered christmas menu. Over an hours wait for main course. No sprouts or pigs in blankets with Turkey dinner. Dessert was another long wait. Came with wrong ice cream and no popcorn. Coffee machine broken so unable to have an espresso martini. Hadn't taken off the £50 deposit paid from the bill. Quiz night so very noisy. Overall a very disappointing experience.

The worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. We came on the way to a Christmas activity. Arrived with 2 hours to spare. It took 20 mins for a drinks order to be taken and a further 30 mins for them to reach the table. After an hour and a quarter, our food had not arrived. We queried this at the bar (as no one had been to our table since delivering the drinks), no apology was given and we were greeted by a very rude manager. We explain that we had been waiting an hour and a half. We were told our meal was next. After an hour and 45 min wait we had had enough so paid for about drinks and left.
