Inspired by the best pizza of New York City and Naples, Italy.

In 2005, Annie and Craig Stoll annexed the space next door to their James Beard Award winning Delfina restaurant fulfilling a long time dream of bringing Neapolitan-inspired pizzas to San Francisco. The 600 square foot space was an instant neighborhood hotspot, and Pizzeria Delfina became the ""darling of the San Francisco food scene"" opening a second location in 2008 to popular demand.

In 2014, Annie and Craig expanded into the Peninsula with Pizzeria Delfina in Palo Alto.

This energetic, farmers-to-table restaurant serves up Neapolitan-inspired pizza complemented by a daily-changing roster of seasonal antipasti, piatti (small entrees), beer, wine and more. A family-owned business, Pizzeria Delfina is a neighborhood establishment through and through that continues to bring people together around fresh, handmade, delicious food in a warm, casual atmosphere.

    I enjoyed the experience in this fantastic Italian place! The quality, the taste, the ambience, music – everything was in the spot. It wasn’t my first time here and I will definitely come back again. Special shoutout to server Artem, he was absolutely professional and lovely. 10/10

    Outstanding Neapolitan style pizza as expected from Delfina. The meatballs al sugo were superb as well. And whoever came up with the grapefruit lime cooler deserves a raise. It was all delicious!

    The food was extremely delicious. It was brought out on time too! Didn’t have to wait too long. We were a bit early but were seated immediately. The drinks were great too. We had a small issue with one of our drinks but was fixed immediately! Great service

    We dined inside. It was very, very noisy. We asked our sever to lower the music and she tried three times. Whoever controls the sound didn't do it. It was close to impossible have a conversation during dinner. You drop $200 dinner for two and get rubbish service. We arrived two or three minutes early for our 7:00PM reservation. We were told we were early (I retorted well, we could arrange to be late, if that is what you want !) The host said we could sit at the bar while we waited -- but, as is common, hosts don't actually check if there are any seats vacant. After pressing they did check and we waited at the bar. Low grade service. One of course makes a reservation with the intention of being smoothly and graciously taken to one's table. Not at this place. Restaurants try to maximize the tables they turn in an evening. They make an estimate of how long diners will need a table, which of course varies. They choose a number to maximize turnover at the inconvenience of diners.
