Planta was opened with the purpose of creating delicious food that promotes environmental sustainability. Under Chef David Lee, Planta aimed at filling a void in the market of upscale, full service, plant-based dining options. The restaurant's vision is to celebrate innovative cuisine in a beautiful environment without the use of any animal products. There’s more to responsible plant-based eating than just taking animals off the plate and our commitment to using high-quality products from ethical suppliers provides the foundation for our chefs to be proud of the food they serve.

Went on Valentine's day so they were behind even if you made a reservation. We waited about 40 mins because the people checking us in at the front neglected to put our names down. We wouldn't have made it in if we didn't ask what our place in line was. We were immediately shoved to a corner in the back of the restaurant upon asking our place in line therefore we didn't get much of the ambience that I was hoping for. Overall the food was amazing and the staff did the best that they could especially on a really busy night so I won't hold any judgement on service based on that night alone. I would come back for the food and hope for a better experience!

We went for the Valentine’s Day prix fixe so it’s likely not reflective of a “typical” experience. Our server was very attentive; perhaps too much so, because it felt quite rushed. I appreciate that there were choices for the event, but there was nothing special: it was just choose 5 from the basic menu. Still, what we ordered was delicious and we enjoyed it, but it was more food than we would normally have ordered, so we felt compelled to get our value.

Such a great experience- arrived early enough to have a happy hour app and drink which was a lovely way to kick off our meal (and super delicious). The mains were filling, creative and beautiful. Even my meat-eating friend was impressed. Can’t wait to go back!

Planta always delivers. Love this restaurant! Since it’s vegan my sister had a wide variety to choose from. The Bang Bang Broccoli was our favourite!!

Exceeded our expectations. Our meal was exceptional as were our cocktails. Sign me up for a class in that kitchen and behind that bar. Great ambience and service too.
