                                                        We loved Plated. We went the night before Valentine’s Day to avoid the rush and it was so peaceful and elegant inside. Our waitress (didn’t catch her name) was very nice and accommodating. My boyfriend and I both got cocktails that were delicious. We got an appetizer of the Brussel sprouts-amazing- and we each got meatloaf, which is unusual for us but it was SO GOOD. We will definitely be back!

                                                        Attractive decor. Welcoming staff. Whipped feta and pear appetizer comes with feta baked in a small croc, grilled pita, and is delicious. Would’ve preferred warm pears, but otherwise very good. French onion soup is topped with thinly sliced onion rings. Makes the dish extra special and tasty. The NY strip was a decent portion size and prepared well, but pricey at $52. The roasted veggies in the quinoa bowl were barely cooked and hard. Ending up sending that dish back in favor of the red lentil curry, which was much better. All in all a good meal, but the prices will keep us from being regulars.

                                                        The food was acceptable but not what I expected for the price. Our table was right by the door on a blustery winter night, so we were freezing for most of our dinner. I do not recommend the brown bread appetizer; very little flavor and underbaked in the middle.

                                                        Service and atmosphere could not have been more lovely! The restaurant was decorated for Xmas and was very charming. We loved the kids’ specialty drinks and the food was solid. We had the charcuterie board, the bacon wrapped meatloaf and fall harvest salad. All very good.

                                                        The ambiance was lovely - great space! I enjoyed my seafood pie, but I felt there was too much mashed potato in proportion to the amount of seafood in it. The arugula salad was terrific - plenty for two of us - as was the whipped feta with pears. My husband very much liked his meatloaf (it looked like a small portion of the meat to me, but he was fine with it). Our son really liked the scallops as well. There were five, which was generous, but the MP was $55, which is quite high for Brattleboro. We also weren't thrilled when our bill arrived and we found out that the sparkling water was $10, whereas our server only asked if we preferred filtered or sparkling water without mentioning the cost. We will gladly return, but knowing the cost in advance. The menu had some really good choices - the food was yummy and interesting without being dauntingly esoteric.

                                                        Excellent food, service and ambiance but far more expensive than expected. Dinner for four ended with a $400+ bill which was a surprise. I do not drink but my guests did and only had two cocktails each. While it was very good, it's not somewhere I would frequent often simply based on price.

                                                        Another fabulous meal at Plated. This time I opted for just starters since there's so many wonderful selections and fun to have a variety of dishes. So delicious! Love the wine selection too and to make the night even more magical they brought a free dessert since it was my friend's birthday. Wow - gingerbread creme brulee - incredible! A wonderful gem of a restaurant in Brattleboro!
