Polito's was opened in the summer of 2017 with the purpose to bring much needed exposure of Latin American Gastronomy to the Lower Mainland. A family run restaurant, we understand the need for fresh and authentic food at a reasonable price. We encourage you to visit us to taste and experience the Polito's difference. We at Polito's take pride in providing stellar customer service and offering carefully crafted food favourites from Central, South America and the Caribbean countries. First time at this place and because we love Mexican Food. This is a higher notch though as it specializes in Latin food which was all the more good. We tried the Pabellon Criolo, Bandeja Paisa and their Fish Tacos plus Loaded Fries! Everything was so good and the portions were huge too. I also had the Lime Margarita which is now my fave. Lastly, their restaurant was clean and their staff was very friendly. We will surely be back!

Always a great time at Polito’s. Whether it’s to get full on pupusas (worth driving far for), a solid rice dish, or having a few tacos with some drinks, you’ll find something to satisfy your craving. The service is friendly and quick. The food is fresh, delicious, and presented with care. Highly recommend!

Initially, they didn't care whether reservation was made through OpenTable, we waited to be seated, despite several tables empty. Climate inside was cold, we kept our outside coats on. No advance notice was provided on their website that a special Valentine's Day set menu was in place. 10 small tacos for $45 or another set menu selection for $65 (including a fettuccine dish??? That's Italian). Yes the food was tasty, but they need to serve more Nachos (skimpy small serving), and neither one of us know what got our stomachs upset after we arrived home. Not sure where it was the tamarind juice (tasty) or improper food heating? Just not a good Valentine's day memory...

Real disappointing first visit. Don't know if this is under new ownership, but the servers seemed really confused. Major change in menu. It seems alot of dishes are no longer available. I ordered chirizo for my quesadillas and ended up with chicken. While waiting for the servers to figure out what was wrong, i continued eating, only to be told that other than the offer to remake the dish they wouldn't do anything more as the dish was half eaten. We had to ask twice for our teas and water and was overcharged for the tea. Don't know that we'll be returning any time soon.
