Pomo Pizzeria, in downtown Phoenix, dishes out authentic neapolitan-style pizza in an intimate and inviting restaurant. The extensive pizza menu bulids from a base of tomato sauce, fresh basil and mozzarella. Options include the diavola, with spicy salami, the contadina, with mushrooms, artichokes, onion, pepper and black olive, and the tirolese, with brie and smoked prosciutto. Both my wife and I had the Lasagna. Of all the Italian restaurants I have eaten at this was one of the best lasagna.

Great food and great service. We had the whipped ricotta w/honey, diovola pizza and torching arabbiata. When they say spicy, believe them. We haven’t had pizza this good since we went to Naples.

Pizza isn’t great the whipped ricotta and honey with the focaccia was amazing tho! Highly recommend They definitely do not have the best espresso martinis unfortunately.
