Eat, drink and relax. Our restaurant rewards food and wine lovers with a unique warm and friendly environment to enjoy time with partners, friends or family. Our restaurant is one of the few restaurants in Chichester in which you can indulge in rural British cuisine. Utilising the gardens, the Potager Restaurant uses fresh, home-grown produce creating a true ‘farm-to-fork’, or as well like to call it ‘Potager-to-plate’, ethos. Our Chefs and trained front of house staff will treat you with fantastic service, friendly smiles and great food. Characterful, contemporary oak-beamed restaurant with views over open countryside.     The full price of the experience is £22.50 per person. Afternoon teas need to be pre-booked 24 hours in advance. To confirm your reservation, we require a 50% deposit, with the remaining balance to be paid at the restaurant. We’ll leave it up to you to decide whether it’s cream first or jam first! Indulge in a selection of finger sandwiches, scones, cakes, tea and coffee whilst relaxing in the stylish surroundings of our restaurant, or outdoors in the grounds of our idyllic estate.

    Had lovely meal to celebrate husbands 80th birthday. Food was excellent and well presented, & Ethan (bar manager, who makes some mean cocktails) & staff looked after us really well. Would love to come back in summer to appreciate the great outside space too.

    Catch of the day, sea bream, with mash & spinach was so delicious. Creme brulee also very good. The restaurant is warm & inviting & staff very friendly & efficient.

    Had an absolutely lovely afternoon tea, the service was fantastic. Sandwiches and cakes were delicious. Great selection of cakes for afternoon tea. Would definitely return again. Best carrot cake I’ve tasted!

    Food quality usually excellent but today sunday lunch roast beef very tough difficult to cut. Manager very apologetic and discounted bill. Very disappointed.
