   Everything was OK. The French toast was dry but the burger was very good. Drinks were good and it is cute inside. Unfortunately our server Alex was no where to be found majority of the time. I had to ask another server to find her for water refills when we hadn’t seen her for about 15-20 min. She didn’t check on us once. Was only seen when she took our drink order, then food order. Didn’t even check in after we received our food from the food runner. Also asked for a box when she dropped off and left the pay machine and didn’t see her again, so we just had to find someone else for it. I’d come back but would hope for a different server.

   My French dip dinner was pretty good, but my wife’s fish and chips lacked flavor and no tartar sauce for the dish. Also, we were near the bar where one of the drunk patrons wa bleeding all over the bar from his nose without excusing himself to a rest room. No staff approached addressed the problem either

   The food was awesome. We had the brussel sprouts as our appetizer, the salmon bowl and the meatloaf entree. Portion size was enough for a second meal to take home and we did so we could save room for the homemade pop tarts. They didn’t disappoint as we haven’t had these for many years. Presley’s pop tarts are a great reason to return for brunch or dinner in the future. Our server was attentive, fun and helpful for making food and drink choices. Definitely plan to go back. Only negative was the music was very loud making it difficult for conversation or to hear the server.

   This is the second time we dined at Presleys. First time we had great food and service. We enjoyed the experience so much the next time we were in Detroit for a Broadway show we returned to Presleys. The waitress was pleasant but didn’t see her much. The music was so loud , we asked to have it turned down so we could hear ourselves. She said she’d try but we didn’t notice and asked again. She said something about the music must be just above the noise level. Not sure why. I had a power bowl with chicken(had it the last time with salmon-was delicious) the dressing was very heavy and the chicken was burnt. The rest of the meals were good. I will it one more try at a later date because “one offs” do happen- we shall see.

   Suggest pairing the shrimp tacos with something other than tortilla chips, as without salsa a naked tortilla chip is not appealing.
