Owned and operated by a Mexican American family whose best memories all include tacos, Puesto is an award-winning Mexican Artisan Kitchen & Bar providing an innovative approach to authentic Mexican flavors.     The food and drinks were good and the environment was great the only problem I had was that my waiter didn’t inform me he will be leaving for the day and had to wait for the other server for about 20 minutes to get our next drink. Other than that everything was great.

    Really good food and very nice ambience. Parking is very difficult but great once you’re in the restaurant.

    I made reservations for a business team dinner. I received nothing but great feedback regarding the food, service and Puesto's Taco Tuesday special. That was an added extra surprise for everyone. Puesto is becoming one of my go to places for great Team dinners.

    I've dined at multiple Puesto locations (San Diego, Concord, and now Santa Clara) and they never disappoint. The tacos are exquisite; much fancier than any others I've had before, and at a reasonable price. I recommend asking for the guacamole sample flight, which might not be on the menu, but is a great way to try multiple kinds of guac that are all pretty tasty. In addition to the food quality, the ambiance and service were top notch. This is an excellent choice for coworkers, friends, or date night, although it is a bit on the pricey side.

    I would have given all 5 stars but 2 of our guests did not receive their food until we were almost done eating.

    The food is fantastic but the service was awful. Our waiter began the meal by pouring our water from a used jug from a prior guests table instead of giving us a new, clean one. He was untimely with taking orders and we had to flag him down numerous times to retrieve our check. This was made worse because the check was incorrect the first time he came over and we had to retrieve him to modify it which delayed finishing up further, and then when I finally put my card down it took him another five minutes to return to the table to collect it so we could pay and leave. I would ordinarily give service the benefit of the doubt, but this wasn't a particularly busy night and I clocked him hanging out rather than working so it was not due to him being preoccupied with other customers. Food is delicious but expensive and based on the service I would recommend other places instead.
