Pure South Dining is founded on philosophy of Ethical, Sustainable and Provenance driven produce, championing Tasmanian farmers, fishermen and small producers. The best in season produce is flown from the islands of King, Flinders & Tasmanian directly to our Southbank kitchen.

Pure South Dining offers our guests two dining options to suite any occasion.

The ground floor Pure South Kitchen is our casual riverside bistro offering classics from morning till late. Enjoy our Tassie produce without the fuss, while you look out to the Southbank promenade, sipping cocktails with friends.

Ascend the stairs to the Pure South Dining Room, for a modern fine dining experience, with stunning views of the Yarra River & Melbourne's skyline. Dine a la carte, or embark on a culinary journey with our six-course tasting menu. Our in house sommelier is on hand to guide you through our extensive wine list, with over 400 bottles highlighting Tassie Chardonnay & Pinot Noir.

Great view and amazing meals using lovely tassie products! Was a little bemused when I went to the toilet to come back and find a staff member take my chair for someone else - not what I would expect.

We booked the pre theatre option at Pure South Dining. The preset menu was amazing, beautifully presented and all courses were delicious. Their service was friendly and professional. The view over the Yarra was fabulous. We finished our meal with plenty of time to get to our theatre booking. We will return.

We all had the shared menu as it was lunch time. Small portions, but adequate. Non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks were available. We have been before and were not disappointed.

Good food and service until time of bill - without telling me charged in USA dollars — should have been in Australia dollars as that what the bill said - Extra exchange fees ( not credit card foreign transaction fees - none on my cards) Cost me 45 Australia dollars ( 29 USA dollars Just NOT ok
