Purlieu is a French restaurant in the Oakridge community of Calgary, Alberta. The food is classic with dishes like Moules Frites, Coquille Saint Jacques & Steak au Poivre. The wines are French with a good selection from the Rhone Valley, Bordeaux and Champagne with a cocktail list focused on French and local spirits. At Purlieu, we're on the edge of the city, in the heart of the community.

    Purlieu is an absolute gem of a place in the suburbs. Everything was reasonably priced and was delicious! Right after having our appetizers we knew we would be back again!

    Lovely little restaurant! Great food and service in the bistro tradition. Quiet enough, even when full, to have lively conversation over dinner.

    Great little French Bistro with great service and incredible food. I shouldn’t be telling anyone how good it is, because before you know it, I won’t be able to get a reservation. Last night was our 3rd visit and it was fantastic. Incredible calamari appetizer and the special lobster spaghetti was sublime. Wifey had the steak au poive and loved it. Keep up the great work but don’t tell anyone!

    One ofnour favorite places to eat. Service is great. Food is fabulous. Prices are reasonable. Recommended for a date night.
