We had a fantastic time at Quill bar. The service was great and Barnaby, our waiter, was very attentive and it was a real joy to drink and eat at Quill Wine Bar. My Great Aunty and I had the Bacchus English wine which was delicious and my daughter enjoyed their cocktails. The food was made fresh and was very tasty indeed. Cannot fault our time here and truly look forward to our next visit. A big thank you to Barnaby.

Great experience at Quill for birthday drinks as a group of six. Our waitress (American lady) was lovely and very helpful. Only downside was that it was very hot! But we will definitely recommend to friends and return (in fewer clothes!). Thanks

Great new wine bar- really interesting wine list, very helpful staff and the few snacks we had were excellent. It also has outdoor space well heated for the winter so a good option if inside is too cosy. Tables upstairs are pretty close together so doesn't accommodate larger people easily but the decor makes it worthwhile if you can squeeze yourself in.

Enjoyed our first visit to Quill and are big fans of Plume. The address on open table was incorrect for quill and was not on stony Lane, therefore had difficulty finding it. Quill did not disappoint Lovely outdoor. Space, floors indoors, quite small, but beautifully done. Great wine selection as always. This time we didn’t eat here. It was far too hot in the wine bar, so you need to get that sorted out. We’ll be coming back

Staff not trained, polite but half an hour for wine, food arrived first. Not everything came. Decor slapdash and old fashioned. Food was nice, wine also, nicely chilled but overall very shambolic experience. Won't bother going back and heard other diners saying the same. Also, tables rammed in too tightly.

Hello Thank you for your review - we have only been open a week and taking on feedback throughout with staff developing their skills throughout with ongoing training and development. Shame that you only had a 2 star experience. We will continue to improve and believe our experience of our other bars will continue to this one and be a great location for people to experience new and exciting wines and continue to have great conversations around a table filled with food and drink. Sorry we won't be seeing you again but hopefully you will allow some opening teething issues and give us another try in a few weeks.

Great evening here catching up over a few wines. The food is great as a side/snack. Service was great - always on hand and looked after us well.
