ハイ・ストリートからOld Bankホテルに入ってガラス張りのロビーを抜けると、テラスとバーを併設するQuodレストランが中央にあります。かつて銀行の営業部が使用していた部屋をオーナーのJeremy Mogfordが改装し、オックスフォードで最大の広さを持つ人気店が誕生しました。スタイリッシュでモダンな内装のレストランで、イギリスのモダンアートの素晴らしい作品が展示されています。壁にはSandra Blow、Craigie Aitchinson、Gary Humeの作品が飾られています。暖房付きの豪華なテラスを併設しており、朝のコーヒー、お得な2コースのランチ、カクテルなどを楽しめます。

    Quod and the Old Bank Hotel have a large secure private car park and is accessed via an automated barrier. Priority is given to hotel guests though spaces are readily available throughout the weekdays.

    Coaches and trains provide regular services to and from destinations across the UK and there is a direct coach service to London every nine minutes. Coach stops are a couple of minutes walk along the High Street and Oxford Train Station is around 20 minutes walk away.

    Take part in the most traditional English pastime of afternoon tea in the heart of Oxford. With its large windows looking onto the famous colleges, Quod is the perfect stopping point during a walk of the city. Enjoy classic egg & cress or ham and mustard sandwiches, homemade scones with clotted cream and jam and a cup of tea or perhaps a glass of champagne. In the summer months tea can be taken on our recently refurbished Italian garden terrace.

    美味しい料理をありがとうございました。Oxfordで食べたレストランの中で、一番美味しいと思いました。雰囲気も最高でした。店員さんの対応も素晴らしかったと思います。

    Lovely and varied menu to suit everyone in our family. Great atmosphere and good attentive service. Pisco sour was a plus as you dint find them everywhere!

    Very poor Christmas Afternooon Tea which was a gift for my 10 year old granddaughter. Booked for 2.30pm on arrival we were told this menu doesn’t begin until 3pm. Why were we not informed at booking? Shown to our seat one of many serving staff who covered our table told us we would have to wait. At 2.45pm we asked if we could order and be in the food queue. The body language of the person showed we were an inconvenience. When the tiers of plates arrived it was plonked on the table. No plates were provided to eat off unlike other tables. We asked for some but they never arrived we had to eat off the serving plates. Having served the champagne we then asked twice for the tea. The scones were rock hard we pointed out they were inedible. Another member of the serving staff told us they were all the same!! We showed them a knife wouldn’t cut through them and they we to seek advice never to be seen again. My granddaughter had been so excited about being so grown up only to leave feeling very upset. A dreadful experience!!!
