First opened to the public in 1984 as the Raceview Tavern, The Raceview Hotel has been a favourite in town ever since. Has become expensive to go there. Cost for 2 adults, a 16 year old, a 14 and 11 year old. Over $190. Go there for family Christmas get together. This will be the last year.

Have been here a number of times. The last time possibly 12 months ago. There must be New Chefs/Restaurant managers because there is a noticeable difference in the quality, quantity and variety of food. I appreciate that you don't expect fine dining at an "All you can eat Buffet" but you do expect the food to be inviting, flavoursome, with plenty of variety. Restaurant area was clean although there didn't appear to be a surplus of staff. Might give it another go as might have struck it at a bad time (Sunday 6.30pm).

Selection of food was amazing . Roasts were moist & not overcooked. Plenty filling on lasagna & pizza. So many desserts & loved the small serves so we could try a few things

I have been before and it has always been very good. Unfortunately today some of the entrée food was not very fresh. Slider buns had gone hard and sushi not its usual standard. Otherwise it was good.

We have been here many times and then not for awhile but last night's food was delicious i must say. We all enjoyed it very much.

Had an amazing time food was great and good selections to choice from. It may have been my husbands last outing and he was happy

Told us we had 2 hours to eat before it changed to dinner,only 15 minutes afterwards the food was taken. No one served us at the stand Food quality has dropped,no flavour to food items

Had used this restaurant numerous times previously and found that the food was always of a high standard. The Restaurant today was quiet, had booked for a large party, was surprised to find that there was a notice on the counter advising that the prices had increased the day before, but no notification to advise prior to arrival. The food once again was a good quality, the muscles had all be removed from the shell and the empty shells remained in bowl. The restaurant was extremely clean, food plentiful and of good quality. Staff were hard to find, we had to wait at the counter for approx 10 minutes before someone came to serve us. Overall value for money it is not as good as it was previously.

The dishes were not washed properly.. Rice and chicken curry was sweet to taste.... which is bizarre and I assume they have added sugar to it

Staff weren’t that accommodating. Arrived at the 1 o’clock sitting for the Melbourne cup buffet. Hostess not very friendly. Not much food to choose from when we got there. Most of it dried up. But on the whole it was ok. Need to up your customer service.
