Such a fantastic first experience at Red Lantern. Christian our waiter was so patient and kind. He helped us choose from so many good menu items and reassured us there’s plenty of food to go around when you order the main courses. There were additions to the menu that he touched on and told us about the weekday promos (I.e $1 dumplings). The food comes out so fast, and there’s not one bad choice on the menu, everything was delicious!! Highly recommend!

A group of us met for drinks and appetizers and we’re seated in their spacious and comfortable lounge area. It’s a great place to get together with a large group, and although we were there on a fairly slow night, it afforded us more than enough room to relax and the service was outstanding. Food and drinks were very good, and our server (Amanda) was always attentive and friendly. I’ve been here before, but this visit was just a reminder of what a great space this is for a friends get together!

HORRIBLE SERVICE! We gave the tip that we thought was appropriate for the service we received and waiter gave us the check back and asked for more tip! So so rude. Food was not the best, so many other great restaurants in boston with same type of food at much lower price.

Red Lantern is a hidden gem! The atmosphere and service is wonderful and the food is exceptionally fresh and delicious. I will definitely be returning here is the future.
