The Greedy Gordons Pub company welcome you to the Red Lion. Managed by Ashley Headland, he brings a strong team of consistency and knowledge.

Situated in the heart of Cranford near Kettering a village steeped in history & the pub being the mainstay since the 1700’s.

Head Chef Ben Drury brings loads of experience by bring people together with our love of great food and drink delivered with passion.

Priding ourselves on being ECO-local we have reduced our carbon footprint by using local produce, recycling & upcycling as much as possible as well as providing waste for Bio Fuel. #EcoLocalRedLion.

All welcome and catered for including dogs!

    We have been coming to the red lion for years and tonight was a real let down. The service was poor and the attitude of the waitress was a real disappointment. The service was slow and the waitress didn’t seem bothered at all. When asked why the dessert was taking so long 15 minutes after ordering we get well do you want to cancel it then. Very rude and abrupt.

    was a bit disappointed to be fair not with the place not with the ale or wine but with the food I had the special pie and the pastry was as hard a bullets filling was very good mash was lovely my wife had the milanaase chicken whilst it was presented well the sauce was very bland and the chicken was greasy speaking to others they have said its hit or miss at times I will try again and post again if it improves as one meal to give a not a bad review is unfair

    Superb food, fantastic marinaded lamb skewers in particular. Very friendly staff great service, we will be back! This is a notches up on pub grub.

    The place was welcoming, friendly and the staff were very efficient and considerate. The food was extremely good and all three of us thought the mains and desserts we ordered were exceptional.

    We have eaten here several times, the menu is good & the food great. The staff are very friendly, approachable & attentive. The Red Lion appears to be busy whatever time & day we dine, which would indicate a high regard from customers for the quality of food & service. Thoroughly recommended for that special meal out.
