Reserve invites guests to experience a multi-course chef’s tasting menu in an intimate, outdoor setting. Food is expertly selected from all over the world, enhanced by wine paired by one of our advanced sommeliers, to create a memorable dining experience.

Located directly across the street from Café Monarch, Reserve, features the best the valley has to offer! The tasting menu features world cuisine consisting of world-class, premium ingredients, making us one of the best 5 star restaurants in Scottsdale. Sommelier selected wine, craft cocktails, and a full premium bar further enhances the experience. Seating is extremely limited, and reservations are required.

Founded by renowned winemakers Philippe and Cherie Melka, Melka Estates is celebrated for its exceptional wines that artfully express the unique terroirs of Napa Valley, Sonoma, and Paso Robles. Each exquisite course will be thoughtfully paired with 6 remarkable wines, including selections from Melka's distinguished Métisse, Mekerra, and Majestique labels — with vintages showcasing the mastery behind these highly acclaimed wines. Guests will have the rare opportunity to experience Melka Estates' Mekerra Sauvignon Blanc, a completely barrel-fermented wine that stands as one of the most highly rated and sought-after American Sauvignon Blancs. In addition, the evening will feature the acclaimed Martinez Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon, sourced from Napa Valley’s renowned Pritchard Hill — a region celebrated for producing some of the world's most powerful and expressive Cabernet Sauvignons. We are honored to welcome Cherie Melka, co-founder and accomplished wine industry professional, who will share captivating insights into Melka Estates' rich history, winemaking philosophy, and the stories behind these extraordinary wines.                         What a fun and unique dining experience. Everything was perfect from the ambience on the outdoor patio, incredible service, amazing and creative food, to the personalized menu for my husband’s 40th birthday. We did expect the food portions to be smaller and we left stuffed, so may want to skip lunch before you go. Worth every penny for a special occasion!

                        Foodies…true foodies, welcome to paradise, a dining experience unlike anything else! We’ve been to Cafe Monarch several, the original across the street, which is truly off the charts. The owners’ newer concept “Reserve” is such a unique and truly one-of-a-kind dining experience. Hard to find the words! These two restaurants are Top 20 in the nation! I encourage you to find a special occasion and book dinner at Reserve. You’ll be so glad you did.

                        I was really hoping to give this 5stars but I just cannot. I'm not saying don't try this restaurant - the food was decent, the staff was excellent, and the courtyard was beautiful.... But I was disappointed. This was my second time at Reserve- sister to Cafe Monarch. We went for Valentine's Day and it was just not worth it. The flavor just was not there overall. Lamb had zero seasoning, the caviar was drenched in cream, and the wagyu - although perfectly cooked was lacking salt and served with a short rib drenched in overpowering gravy that ran into the Wagyu. This was $395 per person..... I had no complaints to my boyfriend that paid for it but I just don't think I will recommend this restaurant again. I really expected to be wowed like I have been in the past at Cafe Monarch- it just was not there. My feedback to the reserve last time was to not serve the Wagyu in sauce and it is the same this time. If the dishes are going to be under seasoned - then provide salts on the table.... And the caviar... why so much cream?

                        It was definitely one of the best experiences when it came to fine dining, the staff and chefs have it down to a T , they were all very attentive and provided great conversation to roll with as well. Definitely would come back.

                        We enjoyed celebrating a special occasion in Reserve's intimate and pleasant indoor space. The various courses presented were innovative, creatively presented, and delicious. The service was professional, pleasant and unobtrusive. We definitely plan to return.

                        The Reserve has the most beautiful candlelit garden setting with creative, high quality cuisine, and extreme attention to detail!
