OpenTable 編集部より： August remains the flagship restaurant within the BRG Hospitality group, and it’s a grande dame dining room of New Orleans. The building rose tall in the 1830s, and the elegant space features mahogany panels and antique mirrors. The modern Creole menu offers a chef’s tasting in seven courses, from red snapper crudo to lavender panna cotta. The team also has a reputation for impeccable service, earning a couple of James Beard nominations in the past decade.

    Restaurant August presents our Chef's Tasting Menu - a journey through nine dishes to encapsulate the August experience including Fruits de Mer, Spoon Bread & Caviar, Pan-Seared Grouper, Duck Pithivier, Grilled A5 Wagyu, Olive Oil Ice Cream, and Louisiana Pecan. This menu is $185 per person excluding tax and gratuity. Enhance your meal with a thoughtful and intentional wine pairing with six courses, +$110 per person or reserve wine pairings, + $175 per person.

    Had a great time with my family last night. The tasting menu was a treat. The grouper was wonderful and the desserts were out of this world. The wine parings were perfect as well. Service was impeccable. I would definitely recommend to anyone coming to the city!

    One of the best meals of my life. Fecilia and Annabelle were our services and the entire staff from the kitchen, to the managers and food runners did an outstanding job making out birthday celebration so special. Every bite was a true culinary experience. This level of dedication to the food is rare. August is truly a gem and the best fine-dining resturaunt in New Orleans.

    The personnel we interacted with tonight were an exceptional example of what you should hope for in professional restauranteurs! They listened to our needs and created an outstanding meal and atmosphere to enjoy ourselves on a celebratory evening. The food was delicious and served with care. We will return to dine here whenever we come back to New Orleans and recommend it to friends and family.
