   Wonderful dining experience. Thoughtful and well executed food. Appreciate the seasonal, local philosophy behind the progressive menu. Highly recommend. Will go back again and again.

   We had the seafood market special and the fish was off and expensive. We were disappointed in the food. Our waiter was very good.

   The hot sauce though made in house wasn’t very good in my opinion and they had no cornbread but serves red beans and rice. The beans were a little on the salty side also. The rest of the food was great though and the cocktails.

   Excellent Cajun/Creole and a little southern food. Staff was friendly and attentive, food delicious. Indoor and outdoor seating available, with a small bar seating area inside. Very nice place.

   Best gumbo in Dallas - by a mile. If you are from Louisiana and looking for a legit taste of home - highly recommend RB. Great atmosphere and wonderful food.

   We went for a special women-inspired dinner. We loved the vibe & the intent & the menu looked excellent. The Ramos Gin Fizz was fun & the Turnip & potato soup was silken, although I added a little salt. Endive, grapefruit & avocado salad hit just the right notes, as did the orange wine. The fish cakes were, well, fishy & the beurre blanc was too creamy to cut through the fishyness. Crab & shrimp lasagna was decadent and so rich there was not way to eat it all. The Brunello was lovely & not tanic at all. Brisket bouruignon would have been lovely had it not been deconstructed leaving the brisket feeling dry & barely dressed. The triple Valhrona Chocolate mousse was lovely and paired well with the chicory coffee. Really couldn't get past the amaretto/almond extract smell & taste of the old-fashioned, but others seemed to enjoy it, and I am not a bourbon drinker as a rule. Our serverr, Brent,was lovely & responsive. We felt the amicable vibe in the restaurant was positive & fun. It took us 3 trips around the block to figure how to get into the parking lot. The restaurant is easy to miss next to LaComita, so get specific directions, because I never found the Beatrice sign.

    Place has potential, but failed to meet expectation’s. Went on a Saturday at 5 PM for the seasonal patio crawfish boil. Arrived at 5 and the gate to the restaurant was closed as the staff was not ready to seat guests. There’s a great crawfish boil setup on the patio that was not being used - made me wonder if I was eating fresh crawfish. Restaurant was out of sausage. it’s featured on nearly every dish so I’m not sure how this is happens on a Saturday. Crawfish was so so and high priced compared to others in Dallas. Decent cocktails - lack of selection of beer.
