Really great location, really excellent food, all of the servers were very pleasant to deal with, but there's a back of the house problem. They were very crowded when we went the other night, and had no idea how to handle it. They had four bartenders working like crazy, drink orders were placed well in advance of the food orders, but the drink orders didn't come out until near the end of the meal. Water glasses weren't filled in time, it was just really a mess. Nothing to do with the servers or the cooks or the front of the house, but whoever was scheduling all of the orders and how they came out that's not a good job for them

Has the radicchio salad and my husband has the black cod. Pear ice cream sundae and chocolate cake for dessert. Best meal we have had in ages. Will go again!

The food was impeccable! For starters, we ordered deviled eggs, which were absolutely delicious, the smoked salmon on top added an extra special touch. For the main course, we had steak with mashed potatoes and vegetables, as well as scallops. Both dishes were incredibly flavorful. The only downside? When it’s over, you’re left wanting more! Haha. The food was absolutely incredible. I had the Mary’s organic chicken and it was cooked in such a way that it was super juicy and incredible over a bed of mashed sweet potatoes. My wife had the blackened cod which she ate with total joy we didn’t leave a single drop of food on the plates.

This seems to be a Berkeley neighborhood spot more than a special occasion experience. So, if you're looking for a convenient location to grab a meal prior to attending an event at The Berkeley Repertory Theater or its affiliates, this is a good choice.

Really wonderful place and meal for a post Valentine's celebration.We tried several small plates; crab beignets, deviled eggs, the mezzo platter and a beet & kale salad. Each was very well prepared. Our final dish was the dungeness crab pasta. It had a nice flavor but it didn't have much crab in it. Also we each had a Jack Frost cocktail, with and without alcohol and both were delicious.. We'll definitely go back again!
