For three decades the name Riccio has been synonymous with fine dining in the desert. Richard and Patricia Riccio set the bar for outstanding Italian cuisine 40 years ago when they opened the original Riccio’s in uptown Palm Springs. Two of their sons, eager to carry on the family tradition, last spring unveiled Riccio’s Steak and Seafood with a new menu concept in a higher profile location downtown. Service and personal attention have been the Riccio’s hallmark and they pledge to continue this tradition.

For the casual diner, Riccio’s offers a relaxed patio presentation for watching downtown Palm Springs unfold while sampling their intriguing, seasonally changing menu. Riccio’s bar faces lively Palm Canyon Drive, and picture windows frame a sculptural fountain.

The food was a mix bag of good and not so good. Some stuff was good, but others was not. I wouldn't recommend the steak, as what was served really wasn't what I would call a high quality steak, especially considering the price.

Always great food and atmosphere. The restaurant is a little warm inside but as long as you don’t over dress everything is perfect.

Food portions were large and delicious. Martini comes with a sidecar:) Ambiance was great Our waiter was great!

We had been dining here for years and then we had not been here for some time and nothing has changed. The food is always great and Riccio’s has the best cannoli hands down giving my hometown Chicago bakeries some competition here. Riccio’s is a must to dine at when visiting Palm Springs. The atmosphere is quaint, romantic, and cozy whether dining outdoors or indoors. The waitstaff is professional and very considerate. Lorena was welcoming and very attentive. Thank you.

Bland food, improperly cooked food, poor quality steak. Waiter said he would cover the steak after it was sent back, then charged us for it. We will not be back... much better options in the area. I should have listened to the reviews!!!.
