Located on Castle Street in the heart of Liverpool, Riva Blu Italian Restaurant & Bar boasts an open kitchen, cocktail bar, and large alfresco terrace so you can dine all’aperto “in the open air”.     We Had a lovely meal, the only downside their pizza oven was not working on the night we were there so we had to change our orders.

    No email, no warning at reception, nothing on website/ social media to state that their was no Pizza, Garlic bread or chicken dishes. Huge let down as my partner only wanted the Pizza & Chicken options. Things happen, but given it was Valentine’s Day & I paid a pre £20 deposit a few days before you would expect someone to let you know before you are ordering with the waiter. Not the waiters fault, I actually felt sorry for him as someone in customer service myself, but we should have been told via email, website and/or atleast when we checked in at reception.

    Staff were very attentive. Food was not great, tasteless calamari starter and sea food pasta full of salt. Would not recommend

    My daughter n I could not have chosen a better restaurant, The food was amazing as was the wine recommendation from the excellent waiter. I will return for birthday celebrations in February with friends and look forward to the fantastic food n ambiance. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
