   Had supper at the Riverside Bistro last night in one of their outside domes. The dome itself was awesome and a great dining experience. It was well lit and decorated, had heaters and blankets, and the music was the right volume that we could hear each other and not the neighbors. What was disappointing was the $50 "igloo fee" that we were not told about when making the reservation. Nothing on the website or in the fine print, so beware - there is a charge to eat in one. I'm not saying there shouldn't be, but it should be advertised. (Maybe I missed it??) The food was ok. We had some appies to start which were ok except the curry poutine was really, really good. I had the seared scallops and pork belly. I expected more scallops - it was like one cut in half for two total, but the pork belly was very well done. The other mains were good. The service was really good. Our waitress was prompt, friendly, knew the menu, and checked in on us just enough that it was not bothersome. I would recommend the experience and the location amd view was beautiful and we did have a good time.

   We loved our experience in the dome, Uma was a fantastic server. She kept things light, funny and professional. We would love to do this experience again in the future.

   Dome experience…. Cute idea, we had a group of 6 & there was lots of room. Go to any generic hotel restaurant & that is the food & drinks you will get. Wine list was seriously lacking. If you are looking for a place to eat downtown this is NOT it!

   Love the food but service is ok. Had to go out looking for server to get more water and when time to pay the bill had to find the server. The only time we see the server when she brings in our 4 course meal.

   We had a fantastic dining experience! Thank you for providing extra blankets to keep us cozy. Our waitress, Sim, was incredibly helpful and full of enthusiasm. A special thanks to the chef for accommodating our dietary restrictions!

   We booked table in dome for dinning on our Anniversary. Manager was very helpful as our dome’s speaker was not working and he changed it to make our day special. But we did not like the energy of the server, he was being judgmental whenever we say something. His face expressions were weird. Ambience of the place was so good. Service of the food was good but we personally did not like any food item. It can be happen because our taste is different than their food style. And there is $50 reservation fees for dome.

    What a memorable experience. This was for a friend's birthday and they really made him feel special! In addition, the out-of-town guests are real foodies and they travel all over the world to go to restaurants and they loved it. They really decorate the domes up. We went when it was at least 10 degrees BELOW ZERO Celsius, but found it warm because of the heaters. We were able to take off our winter coats and didn't even use the blankets. Pro tip: Try not to go in and out too much. The server was amazing and very attentive. The lamb shank fell off the bone and was scrumptious. They accommodated the celebrant's vegan diet, and even had a vegan dessert. I'm so impressed. I would definitely go again.
