North Carolina chef and restaurateur, Jim Noble founded Rooster’s: A Noble Grille with the intention of being relevant without being trendy and to impress without being pretentious. That commitment has carried us through two decades and continues to lead us on today.

Knowing that simple food is harder to execute given there is nowhere to hide the flaws, we go to great lengths to source quality ingredients from local farmers and purveyors. We then take all the time necessary to develop their flavors —using both European and modern techniques—always working from scratch.

Our menu features tried and true staples like our spit­-roasted chicken cooked over open fire as well as progressive daily​ specials and elevated Small Plates featuring Executive Chef Brad Pennell. At Rooster’s, you’ll always find something new served with an honest commitment and consistently warm care.

    Excellent Food Server was great and very attentive and pleasant Negative: Hostess told us we had to leave by a certain time and they needed our table back by 7:45 upon our arrival which was not very tasteful

    I got the $70 filet and it wasn’t a bad cut of steak or anything but it was slightly overcooked than medium and it didn’t have any flavor I had to ask for salt and I feel like for the price I shouldn’t have to do that not to mention the salt barley came out so I looked stupid sitting there shaking it over my food for like 5 minutes. The veggies I ordered had lots of flavor so idk if my plate of filet and mash potato’s got skipped or what

    This restaurant is good, but over priced. The server poured two different wines into one glass when my friend asked for a second glsss of Cabernet. The fact that everything is a la cartel, just means they can charge more.

    Decided to do a last minute dinner at Rooster's started off with the fried calamari, nicely done. My wife had a pizza and I had the scallops all was good.

    We liked the atmosphere of the restaurant, and our server was friendly. My salad was good, but the scallops were not good at all -- slightly undercooked and had weird cinnamon-y flavoring. Disappointing. Plum Sorbet for dessert was meh. Our server was friendly, but was EXTREMELY pushy, always pushing us to say "yes" to something that we said "no" to. This was stressful to deal with. Servers, please remember that there may be a good reason that a customer says they don't want something. Don't be pushy. It's not cool. Overall, disappointing, especially the strange flavoring of the scallops. My friend needed GF options, but they were very limited.
