   Went during restaurant week and had a reservation. It was jam packed!! Food was great but we got two of our courses before the drinks we ordered arrived (which was odd?). It was also incredibly loud and hard to hear the persons seated across the table from you.

   We did the Denver Restaurant Week menu, and it was great ! Our server was lots of fun and very helpful. It got pretty crowded and pretty loud as the evening went on, but the restaurant space was very nice. We'll be back !!

   All of the food was well prepared and perfectly seasoned. The roast pork was cold by the time it got to our table, but still tasted good. Both the chicken and the rock fish Tom khah were quite lovely. And the devils on horseback were divine! Service was a little slow, but all of the servers were very nice and helpful.

   Food was delicious with very original recipes!!! Cocktails were great too and service was super friendly! We will be back!

   Second Visit. It's Denver Restaurant Week for our four (4) party. First time sitting in the dining room and the cushion booth side is the best location. Menu selections were outstanding, as we sampled four different courses throughout dinner. The dapper wine steward was knowledgeable and friendly - resulting in two bottles of his selected Red. Our assigned server, Raye, made our dining experience outstanding with her knowledge and shared youthful energy.

   Wonderful service . Restaurant Week menu offered several options off their regular menu as well as special entree . Good value as portions were not reduced on prix fixe menu. Haven’t dined at Root Down for awhile but will be sure to come back. Only down side is parking in the neighborhood but be patient and something will open up .PS.Leave room for coffee and dessert!

   Lamb Sliders and Banana Pie were outstanding. Be prepared for crowded noisy atmosphere. The service was spot on. Excellent restaurant
