2000年7月にオープンした待望の2店目のRosa Mexicanoは、リンカーンセンターから徒歩ですぐのロケーションにある印象的なデビッド・ロックウェル設計のスペースで、レストランの両フロアにまたがる約9mの玉虫色の青いタイルを施したウォーターウォールは240個のミニチュアのクリフダイバーで飾られています。バラの花びらで埋められたバーの後にはオレンジと赤のテラゾ・スラブ、バックライトパネルで作られたドラマチックな「フローティング」階段があります。Rosa Mexicanoは、私たちに新しい時代の幕を開けた、そのユニークでコンテンポラリーな外観によって、インテリア・マガジンの「ベストレストラン2000」を受賞しました。

リンカーンセンターのすぐそばにあるので、オペラやコンサートの前に便利です。目の前で作ってくれる名物のワカモーレは、いつ食べても最高に美味しい。その他の料理も皆いけます。お奨めいたします。

excellent food but POOR service with blame obviously attributable NOT to the staff BUT TO STAFFING. Floor was clearly understaffed with its manager bussing tables, taking orders (oddly delivered, like food without utensils for eating it. Long wait for dessert (flan) as if the wait for dinner was itself long enough.

Hostess was exceptionally rude. Was early for reservations told me all walk ins would be seated first. No suggestions on moving up reservations and didn’t deliver message politely or professionally.

Really nice restaurant. The food and service are very good and reliably so. The restaurant is also clean, which is a must for us. The environment is a little noisy for me but not nearly as loud as some NYC restaurants. Glad to have dined there again!

Meal was adequate - guacamole was good, ceviche was way too salty, otherwise nothing notable. Kids meals were appropriately portioned. We were sat in a windowless room in the back, which lacked ambiance.

We’ve been there many times but not in the past few years until today. Guacamole was good. Huevos rancheros was didn’t have much chili, had hard tortilla shells and a scrambled egg. At other restaurants the dish has been better with much more chili, soft tortillas and runny eggs such as sunny side up. Duck carnitas were disappointing, not much taste. Service was good, efficient and friendly. Overall I thought the food was not nearly as good as it was every other time we’ve been there. This is the first time at brunch so maybe they are better at dinner.

The restaurant is located in a very convenient spot. The service is speedy and friendly. The food is authentic, and the second-floor tables have a nice view of the street and the Lincoln Center

Our experience was lackluster. The food was OK, some meals were excellent while others were just okay. We had multiple people taking our order (a new person each time: guac/drinks, apps, meal). Servers were attentive when there but after they left we were never asked if we needed anything (drinks, sour cream, add ons to meals, etc.). Those bringing food had to find waiters to take orders of drinks or extras. Very happy they have kids meals, though we went online to see if they had them, as there was no indication on the menu or from any of the various servers. If we need a reservation and it's all we can get, I would go back. Other than that, I think there are many other spots to try.

Everything had great flavor. Chicken enchiladas were very good. We were seated and given chips and salsa very quickly but then had a long wait until the waiter took our order. When he greeted us and came to take our order, he was apologetic and very warm. He made sure to check on us the rest of the evening which was great. His thoughtfulness and the good food would make us come back again.
