Located in the historic Fulton Market district of Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood, Rose Mary is Chef/Owner Joe Flamm’s debut restaurant inspired by his Italian heritage and the bold, bright flavors of Croatian cuisine. The boisterous space—named for Flamm’s grandmothers, Mary and Mary Rose, and the herb rosemary, which grows natively along the Italian and Croatian coastlines—offers a seasonal menu of rustic yet refined dishes that encapsulate what Flamm has coined “Adriatic drinking food”.

    Lost my appetite after the delay of the third dish, food is OK but not impressive. it is not like I am going to crave myself to return. I am not sure I truly understand of the concept but food came once at the time when I was told the idea of the dish is for sharing. It is an experience but not going back again.

    The food was delicious! The atmosphere was great! The menu had a lot of things to choose from. The staff is very attentive and friendly. Lilly was very sweet and explained all the details about the items. I was a bit surprised that our entrees didn’t come out at the same time. My friend sat and waited for at least 10 minutes before the other two arrived. Overall, It was worth going and I would go back.

    Always great service, good and ambience. Went tonight with coworkers as we started an informal “supper club” and the staff was so patient as we navigated how many folks would be able to attend.

    The food was exceptional. The waiter did a good job explaining the shareable dishes and the amount we should order for the table. We had to wait for table but they brought free glasses of Prosecco and the wait was less than 15 minutes.

    The bar never disappoints. The bartenders are friendly and the cocktails are flavorfully layered. The gnocchi was richly delicious and the coffee dessert was perfectly sweet and salty.
