Rosebud Steakhouse in Wheeling IS NOT part of the Rosebud Restaurant Group, consequently we do not honor Rosebud Gift Card (similar to the ones from COSTCO). We are part of the CHC RESTAURANT group, and our Gift Cards can be used at any of our restaurants, including Rosebud Steakhouse on Magnificent Mile, Rosebud Steakhouse in Centennial Village, Coppolillo's Italian Steakhouse in both Libertyville, IL and Crown Point, IN, and soon to come, Windy City Social in Munster, and Rosebud Steakhouse in Dallas, TX. Everything we had was delicious except for the broccoli with cheese. Lol it was wayyy too cheesy for our taste!

Was a Sunday night so not too crowded. Split a pasta dish and excellent aged filet, other diner had excellent Dover Sole with tableside deboning. We tried the dumpling appetizer and it was very good. Will try the Lobster Got next time. Our server Nadia was great. We also had a side of tater tots which we found to be too garlicky for our taste, but was fresh and crunchy.
This is an expensive ala carte steakhouse, but we enjoyed the whole experience and will definitely be back.

Our waiter Mike was very great very attentive. Try to satisfy our curiosity on some of the items on the menu. The GM Joe, very friendly guy had a lot of experience in the dining industry, and we shared some similar stories and did some comparisons to restaurants in the past told him that I have been a rosebud fan since forever And he explained this is not an Alex Dana restaurant. he sold the name a few years back nevertheless, the food was fabulous. My sister-in-law ordered the brick chicken and it was tender, delicious and crispy and a light cream sauce. My husband had the chicken Parmesan. I filled the plate with a side of pasta I had the short rib pasta with a chopped salad amazing amazing very very good and desserts the butter cake, and the chocolate cake just worth a visit for that alone of a glass of wine. Great experience we're definitely going back.
