   Row 34 never disappoints from a quality and service aspect. Hosting colleagues from overseas we wanted to show them a true fine dining seafood experience. They were delighted. So, for a business dinner this was more than perfect.

   I tried the fish sandwich for the first time and it was delicious! My husband had wanted to try the tuna pastrami and finally did and he loved it. Everything we had was great with friendly and helpful service too.

   Amazing restaurant and staff. We were in Portsmouth for UNH weekend. Stopped in Friday for oysters and food. The tuna crude with black garlic was delicious. The halibut in saffron cream sauce was delicate and perfection. The staff was so helpful that we came back with the whole family for Saturday night dinner. We tried the crab salad and lobster bisque. They even found the oysters we liked from Friday as they had limited supply. I want to say that we were not drinking much so it wasn’t special service. I think they just roll that way. Can’t wait to come back.

   We made reservations and waited a bit for our seats, however we were early. Loved where we were seated and enjoyed sharing some raw oysters. Our drinks were yummy and our waitress was very good. She was a real worker, yet took great care of us. It was our first visit to Row 34 and we enjoyed it.

   Nice people, though we found the seafood to be overly battered. The fried oysters pretty much tasted like fried batter. Same with the fried artichokes. The market price on the lobster rolls was $68, so we passed on those. $68 for lobster a lobster roll seemed steep given we were in lobster country - but maybe they are scarce this time of year, I don’t know. Great beer selection.

    Kyle Nelson, the restaurant manager, monitors all tables. He noticed we had a slight wait for our food, apologized, and gave us a complimentary round of drinks. Unexpected but very much acknowledged. That is great management.
