   Only negative was my rack of lamb came out cold and when reheated was drier and not very juicy. Great service from Nathan and his bus boys.

   We like the dinner for 2 because it includes everything except dessert. It’s fairly priced and we find the portions to be the perfect size. I do wish they had an option including a small dessert for a few dollars more

   I don’t ever complain but this time I do need to say something. I’ve dined at Russel’s many times and this is as by far one of the worse. I’m a little embarrassed that I brought people here for the first time after telling them about the place. Had reservations for 715 (way ahead on time arrived by 6:50) didn’t get seated til almost 8 which is no big deal so we all had a drink at the bar while waiting and that’s when the night started. We were greeted by a very rude bartender (dark hair around 730pm), finally sat down to eat was brought out HARD butter with bread, waited 20+ mins for drinks, dishes still all over table with no room so stuff kept falling off the tables, the service and timely fashion was not working this night especially for the amount of money I am paying for FINE DINING. Not sure what happened but not a good experience this night but great steak!

   I was truly delighted to have Mr. Salvatore himself seat us today. The cuisine was exquisite, and the service was unparalleled, surpassing any we have encountered in our global travels over the past year. The ambiance was exceptionally refined. Mr. Salvatore seated us in a location that afforded us a splendid view of the restaurant's elegance. I wholeheartedly and most earnestly recommend.

   Everything about Russell’s is top notch from the moment you enter. Staff, decor, ambiance and cuisine are all excellent. We highly recommend for any occasion or just a nice evening out.

   The food and service was great. We didn't feel rushed, but sensed staff was really scrambling, in a good way, to serve diners promptly. First time back in many years (live out of town) but not disappointed.

    I don’t want to say I hated it, but my experience was underwhelming. I think a big part of it was due to the service from our waiter rubbed me the wrong way. I had ordered an old fashioned and there was just something off about it. It came to the table looking overly red in color and just tasted off. I’ve never sent a bourbon back in my life, but I couldn’t drink it. When I requested to send it back the server made it feel like I was the problem and not the drink. Almost to the point where he was defensive about it. To his defense he did come back and agreed that his manager thought they may have mistakenly added cherry juice to it. As for the entrees we had ordered off the dinner for 2 menu. My gf ordered the filet and it was excellent. I had ordered the delmonico and found it to be incredibly salty. After the experience with the drink, I didn’t dare say anything. Luckily my gf liked mine and we traded plates. It wasn’t bad by any means, but for the money you would spend at a place like that, I just think there are much better options out there. I truly respect Mr. Salvatore and all that he’s accomplished. I admire that he still does what he does so i get no pleasure leaving this review.
